I have never heard of a woman who wanted any of those things in your first paragraph, nor have I ever heard of anyone trying to ban or otherwise discourage people from doing what you mentioned in your second paragraph. I declare this topic a false dilemma.

Well when I think of 'diseased meat' I think of parasites and the "stay at home mother" reminds me of parasites (umm, no offence?).

I mean in the sense that a woman lives completely dependently off her husband, what happens if her husband dies?... She moves on, well some parasites do that, she could also die other parasites do that... She becomes independent? Some spiders do that.
