Why is there a certain stigma towards people who are either bald or shave their head? Why do women prefer men with hair, and have a biasness towards those who do not have hair?

Would you date someone who was either bald or shaved their head?

Conversely, I would certainly date a bald guy. It'd be very hypocritical of me not to considering I am a bald guy lol (I shave mine, but it's getting there on it's own anyway)

As others have said though, it all depends on the person. A bald guy can look ugh, but so can a guy with any amount or style of hair. Which would one prefer, a bald good-looking guy or a good-looking guy with lots of hair that looks like it's about to start dripping grease? Now THAT'S yuck.

As for the bias asked about in the OP though, it's very interesting that polls have consistently showed that people consider bald men to be less trustworthy. I guess they must think we're jealous of all the guys with hair and want to get back at them

I´m not sure I would prefer a bald head that looks like dripping grease over hair that looks like dripping grease.

I have heard the stereotype that bald men are particularly manly and potent.

Whatever - being heterosexual and all, I am waiting for the question whether I would date a bald girl.
