When the Sadduces had the wrong idea on scriptures, did Jesus argue with them? No He did not, He merely pointed out to them:
"Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures," -Mt. 22:29
If we continue to bash others, and even ourselves, then we make the Bible a liar:
"Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;" -Phil. 1:27
That is our mission, not to "bite and devour one another" -Gal. 5:15
We will never win one soul for Christ or convert one soul as long as we beat others with a club or beat them over the head telling them how wrong their beliefs are. That is why we are commended to:
"And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;" -1 Thes. 4:11
And to:
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God," -2 Tim. 3:15
Yes we are to go out witnessing, spreading the Gospel, but never with a club. What was Jesus' instruction to the seventy?
"And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. And when ye come into an house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." -Mt.10:7-16
Grace people, God gave us grace, why not pass it on?
