2 Peter 3
In the last days mockers will come.
They deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
Take your best guess.
Exodus 16:14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.
Exodus 16:15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
Apparently apostle Peter also believed that the flood that destroyed the world did actually happen.2 Peter 3

Noah's Ark is measured, literally, in the Bible.
His ark is perhaps large enough to hold the species of the region, but certainly not the world, and less so if you want to include dinosaurs.
Fundamentalists want an ark so limited in size carrying every species on Earth- and that's just plain impossible.
They want a flood that covers the whole Earth, but lack a big enough boat to save each creature.
And that's why you don't take certain things in the Bible literally_
Lets keep the language PG please. We are adults after all.
There is nothing in Genesis about Noah traveling the earth collecting eggs and then setting up incubators on the ship.
Once people realized that a 500 foot boat was too small to hold all the animals, rather than rethinking scripture they proposed baby animals and eggs.
Wouldn't T-Rex eat everything?
There's a Creation Museum in the Midwest where they show Dinosaurs walking up into the Ark, along with other animals.
Your thoughts?
King David seems to take the Flood as a regional event.
I didn't believe it myself until I was directed to the passages in Psalms where he makes a second account of the Pentateuch .
If God brought the animals to Noah, then He influenced them to not eat
each other as well. Likely they hibernated the entire voyage.
Will you post the chapter and verse?
Here in Psalms 104....we read what happened to the flood waters....
6You covered it with the watery depths as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. 7But at your rebuke the waters fled, at the sound of your thunder they took to flight; 8they flowed over the mountains, they went down into the valleys, to the place you assigned for them. 9You set a boundary they cannot cross; never again will they cover the earth.
...sounds like Psalms speaks of a WORLD WIDE flood.
If I were Noah, I would have separated the ferocious animals into cages. Just like they do in zoos.
But, what you said is also a possibility.
The "World" was the spread of man. Geography is not an issue.
Plants were not on the Ark or sea creatures.
The purpose was to cleans the earth of evil men, not make sure
the whole globe got wet.
"The world" that perished was the human empire. God did not
need to dip the globe in water.
Cut him some slack. His cross has flowers growing out of the ends of it.The ark that's in the Bible......are you making fun of me because I believe the Bible?

Quite the biblical prediction....and to think some of those predicted are christians who deliberately forget.
Yes, and so did Jesus.Apparently apostle Peter also believed that the flood that destroyed the world did actually happen.
