Recently, I have heard more talk about about there being different rewards in heave, like if you were etremely nice, and a good person on earth, and lived the way God wanted you to, then he would reward you greater in heaven. I have also heard that there is a place in hell where people go if they have never heard about Christ. (say like somewhere in the remote regions of Russia. No one ever told them about Christ, so they never had the choice to accept him or not.) This I don't beleive, because you are either with Christ, or against him, but I think if it were true that there are different levels of rewards in heaven, the opposite would be true. Different levels of punishment in hell. Whjat do you think, and is there any verses supporting this?

Your bro in Christ,
Alec

I too have seen many references in scripture to rewards in heaven, jewels in your crown, etc. (building up treasures in heaven is the first that comes to mind). However (and this is Theology by Tommy here), in the book of Revelation, there is a place where it mentions that the elders bow down before Christ and place their crowns at his feet. Since I can't imagine anything being better than being in heaven, I just think that at some point we are rewarded for our deeds, but in the face of the deeds of Christ, we so pale in comparison that we no longer desire to keep any mark of reward or rank. We would all be secondary.
Just my own thinking--nothing special.
Good question, though
Thanks

I agree with you, because once we get to heaven, we won't care what rewards we got, but that doesn't mean it's not possible. After doing some research, Matt. 6:1-4 says:

1"Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
2"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 3But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Now that we have figutred out that this is true, what about the opposite? Is there different levels of punishment in hell?

Truthfully, I don't know what the Bible says about it, so this is off the top?
What could be worse than any level of hell?
