  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Since when has Damien Rice become EXPLICIT? (while thinkng of questions...I was looking on itunes to buy his new CD - 9. And every song is explicit..so I decided to ask you why). ;oP

I sense he has been through some rough times these past few years.

Ever gone snow-tubing?

Best bit of advice someone has given you?

I'm not a fan of D.Rice, so you probably don't want to know what I think about his music.:p Either the censors were very sensitive, or he just thought, "Damn it, I'm just gunna swear like a sailor, I don't care", before pouting and looking sorry for himself.

No snow-tubing, but I have used a sledge in the past, which I'm sure I loved. Most things involving snow are fun.

Best advice: Listen to women.;) It's hard work, but a man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do.:p

Whew! You are a toughy!

What is a sledge? Did you mean sled? I agree, snow's the best. Unless you have to go to work.

How is the biz?

My friend is going to London on V-day to visit her new beau (he's also american). Any recommendations of things to do and see? Any tips on what to bipass? They will be traveling all over...not just the city. The Globe would be good. hmmm...

:D Good advice!

What's your favorite kind of pizza and what's your favorite outdoor activity?

Pizza? Hmmm, something with chicken, grilled peppers, and anything else that compliments those two.

And a Coke.:yum:

Outdoors? It depends who I'm with, but nice stroll with a friend is good. Just appreciating nature is always a recipe for good memories.

Either that or Paintball.:D

Tough? Me? How so?:p And yea, sled/sledge, same thing.;)

I'm still refining my processes for daily ops, but I'm getting better at this self-employment thing. Overall, it's gooooooood.:) What's embarresing, is forgetting what day it is, when you don't have someone giving you orders, etc.

Thank you for asking.

Depending on how familiar her beau is with London, he'll know really bad places to avoid, but as for details, I'll get back to you, before it's too late.;)

It depends on what they both like to do, what they've seen already, and how long they've been together. The London Eye is good. It's a slow Ferris wheel with glass pods, if you didn't know. You can get a good look at the city, on a clear day.

I'll post again later.

Any plans for you this week
BTW, have a great week my friend!

Some plans? Yes, but I want to wait until I know the outcome first.;)

Renewme, I couldn't think of anything more specific for Valentines Day. I think if this guy's worth the trouble of flying over here, he will have got something good planned by now.:p

Any plans for Valentine's Day?

No, not really. I'm single, so although I'm not one to wallow in that fact, V Day doesn't really mean much to me.

When I logged on today, I saw the announcement that it's my birthday in 6 days time. I hadn't really given that much thought either.

Of course, if someone were to dedicate a new thread to wishing me a happy birthday, I'd be quite grateful.....;)

I don't ask for much in life, just some nice, little things from time to time.

I got the job!

So now I'm going to be really busy.:o

Heavenly Father, I thank you for blessing me with this opportunity for growth, so that I might provide greater assistance to those I meet in my professional life. I pray that you will grant a similar blessing to those who need it.

Amen.

That the Care Bears did actually live up in the clouds, I never saw them up there though.

Wow, it's been a year since I looked at this, so I thought I'd dig it up for the benefit of all my new friends and to give the new folk an equal chance to rack my brain.:)
