The Nazi's hung, shot or imprisoned everyone who resisted them. People did do it, but it was a capital offense.

Not before they got control of the nation.

The President cannot dissolve the Congress and Supreme Court.

Americans are much different than Germans. . .see the War for Independence from England.

You have no knowledge of what a tyrant can do.

A tyrant can dissolve the Constitution and put in place a new one of his own.

Freedom isn't cheap and requires vigilance. Currently, the nation is so divided
that anything could happen.

I said for now he's doing well. But I question what's to come. I hope I'm wrong
and Trump turns out to be a great president. I feel he could be, but I've been

The Lutheran Churches noticed that people could meet at the back of their Mass, and organise resistance activity if they let the Nazi's believe that they were not a threat. It was one of the few ways resistance was possible.

Things get complicated when Totalitariamism gets a government.
