Oh for God’s sake.

That idea is stupid (you’re not mind).

It’s like when Gal Gadot wears a hideous out fit: she is gorgeous but the outfit is a pile of crap.

I’m sure you’re not stupid but believing that a tv dog can talk is like wearing the dumbest, stupidest outfit imaginable.

With an idiotic hat, to boot.
Ok forget about the dog, maybe the man sounded like a talking dog, maybe He fooled us but I believed He trained the dog to talk. Maybe He talked as a dog, just as I can sound as an electrical guitar better than I can play one...hehe :)

I've just remembered which talking dog you are referring to, it was certainly an entertaining act. I believe the man was a ventriloquist and the dog had some sort of device in it's mouth so it would open it at the correct time, there were allegations of animal cruelty if I remember correctly.

Anyway, back to the topic, the fact that humans share a common ancestor with the other great apes has been firmly established scientifically (spurious creationist objections aside).

I am curious as to why certain posters are objecting to that fact on the grounds of "man being created in God's image", what does that even mean? We are so similar to the other apes if anything we were "created in an ape's image".

But You must have googled nonocats? In many funny catvideos, no some are not funny. I agree there are cats that fall or get wet or scared by cucumbers. Well some cats that get afraid that another is going to steal their food or if a cat sees a strange unknown at in her or his house it might meov nonono and that comes natural for cats.

Absolutely not.
Why do you wear clothes, but animals don't?
So you're absolutely not a eukaryote and heterotroph?

Behaviour varies in a kingdom. Nepenthes is insectivorous but Rose is not. Are they both not plants?
Some birds migrate, some fish don't. Are they both not animals?

You display a weird lack of knowledge about biology, and it seems like cognitive dissonance, proposing that a branch of biology is incorrect when it easily proves that humans are animals.

Nepenthes easily die in winter as a houseplant, if not fed with frozen flies that have melted a bit. Other insecteating plants do too. I've had venus flytrap die on me too in winter when all insects die.

Typical primate . Notice the hands ! Front facing eyes ( which is unusual for a herbivore) and relatively large head . Hey Cousin!
Looks like a nice vegetarian... but my cat has similar coloured eyes :) not the pupil, the black though. That is cats eye.

Is that so? I though that if given enough Nitrogen as fertilizer, they wouldn't have a need to eat insects. Interesting.
Now, don't take it the wrong way, but I seem to miss the point.

I’m plant crazy but I’ve never had a carnivorous plant other than the Venus flytrap my youngest had for about a week before it died. None of the traps worked. Iirc nepenthes is a pitcher plant genus. Too lazy to look it up.

That is it. Why don't they have it?

Don't forget, God makes human by the same material as He makes animals. Do you know what did God do to make human special? Evolutionists would NEVER understand this trick. That is why they are all lost.
Some "evolutionists" do and some do not. In any case it has nothing to do with the evolution of our physical bodies and why it doesn't matter whether we were made from dust or some primate.

So, taxonomy should NOT be used to argue that human is an ape. Because human is much much more than an ape. It is a wrong classification.
-_- there are alternate classifications that are human specific in anthropology, based on differences in culture, etc. Humans don't have enough differences from other animals in terms of anatomy to justify classifying us in our own category by ourselves.

But we are mammals lacking tails and having a wider range of motion in our shoulders with opposable thumbs. Smart ones, sure, but intelligence in and of itself defines none of the categories in taxonomy.

And importantly, it's not just physiology that places us firmly as one of the apes, it's genetics and biochemistry as well

I use Jewish new testament bible and also the old testament by Jewish translation. I've also had Kjv and Swedish version and read German version some years ago and an interesting modern language bible called the message. I also had my grandfathers from dads side armybible a small one that has room in the breastpocket, it is made more like a bulletproof bible, I prefer the Jewish version.

Which is the most read version? I believe Jesus is coming soon and the KJV is extremely precise, when read for what it actually says and studied according to the ancient Hebrew words used. I believe God gave us His Holy Word in spite of the fact that it was passed down through the ages in the hands of sinful men. Only the Christians of the last days before Jesus returns, have the "increased knowledge" necessary to understand Genesis. NO ancient theologian did.

It DOES matter. God use clay to make apes. God use fresh clay to make human. This process is not evolutional, even all life forms were made of clay.

False, since Human genetics was changed when Noah's grandsons married and produced children with prehistoric women since there were NO other Humans for them to marry. Today's Humans inherited the genetics and biochemistry of prehistoric people BUT we did NOT evolve from Apes, as you believe. Gen 6:4

That is why taxonomy is NOT good enough to classify animals, needless to say human.

Can you see a complete tiger from a tiger skeleton? Of course not. That is why we are still wondering what a real dinosaur looks like.
