From what I've heard it's really not that great. Worse than Diablo 2, by all accounts. Plus always-online DRM is pretty annoying. And the fact that the only isometric games I found interesting were the Forgotten Realms D&D games, probably not going to buy it. Might just sneak a few minutes here and there on a friend's laptop, he seems keen to buy it.

I'm not excited about always being online to connect to Blizzard's server as well. I'm not really surprised gaming companies are taking this approach. Anyway, I bought Diablo 3 on launch date and am enjoying it. Haven't played the first one and recently played the second although haven't completed it. The graphics are a tad cartoonish but still great--like Torchlight. I'll likely get Torchlight 2 as backup if my connection's out.

TheKorean#1707 is my tag in case if anyone wants to co-op. I'm a Witch Doctor and like running Hardcore mode.

It's not an excusable way to do things. Steam allows you to be offline, and GoG doesn't even have any DRM at all.
