CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I live in at 820/I35W in Fort Worth. Work in Dallas at 635/Tollway. Go to church in Keller. My parents live in Allen. My sister and family lives in Wylie. My Brother lives in Middlothian. My local in-laws live in Crowley. My mother-in-law lives in SW Tarrant County on Lake Benbrook.

I like it. I love the people. The fellowship with fellow students here has been awesome. The school is much into evangelism and ministry. It does not seem to me to be as much into research and scholarship as some other seminaries are. As a SBC seminary it is pretty iverse in its views but also very orthodox. Paige patterson is our president now. i would recommend that you research him and see what he believes. that might be helpful. If you want to kow more PM me. It also matters what degree program you want to be in. Paige is a dispensationalist and pretty conservative. Some of the more moderate students and faculty here do not like him. So do some research on him and pm me if you want to know some more.Living4Him03 said:

I live in Dallas, near Addison---just moved here this summer. I grew up outside of Houston, went to college at A&M, and now I'm here. Seems like a fun place so far.
