CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My mom is making most everything this year. Turkey, cornbread dressin', yams, probably greens, not sure what else. I'm makin green bean casserole and bisuits. Same thing we always have on holidays.

All that the believer has must come from Christ, but it comes solely through the channel of the Spirit of grace. All of our blessings flow to us through the Holy Spirit. No good thing can come from us in holy thought, devout worship or gracious act apart from the Holy Spirit. Even if the seed is planted and sown in us, it is the Holy Spirit that works inside of us to make that seed grow. This is how we are able to do of his pleasure. If we desire to speak for Jesus, we can't do so unless Holy Spirit touches our tongue. If we desire to pray, it would be dull work without the Holy Spirit interceding for us. Can we subdue sin, be holy, or imitate God without the Holy Spirit working on our behalf? Do we desire to grow spiritually and be made like the angels of God? Without the Holy Spirit working within us, we can do nothing. We can have no fruit with the sap that comes from the vine. There is no life inside of us without the Holy Spirit. We are instructed in Ephesians 4:30 not to grieve him or provoke him to anger by our sins. We must adopt his commands and be ready to obey every prompting. Let us attempt nothing without the Holy Spirit. We must depend on God alone for everything in our lives. Are there areas in your life where you are trying to work without the guidance of the Holy Spirit? Are there areas in your life that are still tainted with sins that are grieving the Holy Spirit and causing him to withhold blessings in your life?

Ladies, I'm in need of prayer right now.....I don't know what I did that I shouldn;t have...but I'm in pain like I was the 2nd day after surgery... I did little things, nothing much, so I don't know why I'm hurting like this..but please pray for me.

Actually my day wasn't as busy cuz we had a special meal. We didn't have to make all the extra's that we usually do. I think I may be watching the same thing.
