Here is a really good mobile app.

You can scan products in the grocery store and it can tell you whether that product supports USA trade or not.
So if it does, you can then choose a different product. There really is no need to support USA products when USA is making this ridiculous attack on global trade trying to bully and extort its trading partners.

I'm all for boycotts of USA products.

There's another one especially for canadians.

An app for finding local made is one thing, but an app for avoiding products from a specific country is something else.

Personally I'd like to avoid Russia products, USA products and Israel products. So if you could create your own profile. Maybe a black list and a preferred list. So you black list Russia, USA and Israel, maybe add to your preferred list local made, maybe Ukraine. It will at least highlight things to avoid at all costs, highlight things that are preferred, it would be very, very handy.
Great if you could just take a photo of a grocery shelf and it would super impose the highlights and the avoids.

In buy beaver, you can set countries you want to support and countries you want to boycott and then get an according score per product.

I had the misfortune of trying that terribly overpriced disgusting French knock off California Sparkling Wine. It was like visiting the Paris sewer with out leaving the safety of America.

Typically French wine is much better than USA wine, I mean, who in their right mind buys USA wine for special occasions?

I have a feeling that this app is going nowhere. How cringe.

Because looking at the label is so 2015. Who needs lables when you have another app and another excuse to pull out your phone to look at it for you.

You can't tell just by looking at the label. Who knows where the parts and ingredience come from. With the app, people have done the digging for you.

Of course the same app could be used to support USA trade. ;)
Yes, maybe USA people and Russians might choose to buy USA made stuff. Russia didn't get any tarrifs on them even though USA has a trade deficit with Russia. For some reason they get special treatment.

In Canada, no need to use an app to identify products from US. Stores typically display big signs stating "Made in USA" next to the products or avoid importing products from the USA altogether.

I think that app also shows you how much extra you're paying because of the tarrifs.
Not sure how you would calculate it. Do they just assume the tariff gets transferred 100% to the consumer? I'm unsure if with the markups that importers and wholesalers and retailers put on things whether a tarriff would then ultimately get multiplied into the retail price.

Freedom isn't free.
So when he said this: “When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on day one”, he was lying to you. And when he said that tarrifs are a "tax on a foreign country", that was a lie as well.

When are you guys going to wake up?
