If you are referring to my avatar or profile picture, those are not my characters. Those are from other works. My user name is a character's name, but not the picture next to it.I like your character by the way.
Yes, I agree that it acts as a release that allows me to get by. I haven't published anything, and at the current time I don't show my work to people. I may one day try to publish, but graphic novels take a long time to make and I won't publish unless I know I can complete it. The problem with a graphic novel is that it takes a lot of work to make even a medium-length story because each scene has to be drawn instead of just told. Most famous graphic novels are either written by a team of people, or are written by one person who works full time over many years. Since my art is a side-hobby to school and work, I make very slow progress on it. Ideally it would be nice to get the story out in a form that others can read, but that won't occur soon.You certaintly have a point about that. Have you published anything? I would Love to see your work... Anything that helps us "get by" is a good thing too. It's one escape that will always be there when we need it. We have to cling to whatever drives us.
