It's not something you would read about in the mainstream media. Sadly black communities like Chicago have so many murders, that will not change until there are more fathers (as Obama made clear) and also school choice. Year after year most of the murders were committed by blacks, Chicago is an example of a city run by Democrats. Blacks lean heavily toward the Democrats (left).
Arrests by offense, age, and race

I see. So you simply conflate African American with Democrat, look only at murders, and this equates to most of the violence being from Democrats?

Chicago is NOTHING compared to Jacksonville Mississippi: Why don't you talk about THAT horrific violence?

I agree with you. I've been saying this. The problem is that the left sees this violence as Democracy in action. They're fighting tyranny and racism and bigotry in their minds. They say Jan. 6th is worse than 9/11, but refuse to even admit their own hateful rhetoric is causing violence and people to be killed.
Not sure how you can say this when things like replacement theories pushed by the GOP network and echoed by GOP officials just killed 10 people in Buffalo.

You know what's weird? I wonder what would happen if you matched up and compared poverty rates with those same crimes? I wonder if there is a correlation there?

No...he is right. We black folks are killing each other left and right. But nobody seems to care as long as it doesn't affect their pretty suburbs or their children's schools.

That is not what killed 10 people.

I understand that the black on black murder rate is disproportionate to the population percentage. That does not equate to Democrats being responsible for the majority of the violence in the country. If anything I would expect the political breakdown to be closer to 50/50 but I have no numbers by which to asses that.

Media accusations that “Buffalo barbarian” Payton Gendron, who shot 13 people Saturday, is “some sort of Tucker Carlson acolyte would be baffling” if not so “transparently malicious,” fumes the Washington Examiner’s Tiana Lowe. His 180-page manifesto doesn’t “mention Carlson once”; instead, he denounces Fox hosts as Jewish, Rupert Murdoch (who owns Post parent company News Corp) as a “Christian Zionist” and conservative Ben Shapiro as the “rat” phenotype of Jewish people. He declares himself an “ethno-nationalist eco-fascist national socialist” who loathes conservatism.

The question is whether most murders are committed by those leaning to the left or right. Get the exact percentage of African Americans who vote for Democrats, multiply it by number of murders, what percentage of the rest would have to lean toward the right in order for most murders to be committed by those on the right.

Is that how it works? You can just take any two sets of numbers and conflate then to achieve a result? One wonders why people bother with studies since you can just use percentages to find out the breakdown.

That is exactly irrelevant to what I said. What I said is he shared the same views as GOP talking heads and congressional people. What I said that view as shared by those GOP talking heads and congressional people is what motivated him.

Generally correct but in fact FAAAAR more complicated than that.

1) Poor people are not inclined to vote.
Voting-Income-chart-web-v2.png

And why would they? The "system" as they see it is rigged against them and what good is a vote going to do?

Keeping people poor and creating and fomenting that political apathy is by FAR the best chance Republicans have to grow as a party.

2) When they do vote they don't EXCLUSIVELY vote Democrat though they are outvoted 2 to 1
Earn%20vs%20Vote.png

It's not secret that Republicans frequently speak about threats to social support systems that the poor need to survive. So it's more than a big confusing to see just over 30% of people vote DIRECTLY against their own best interest. Republicans routinely create policies that benefit, first and foremost, those with lots of money. HOWEVER that needs to happen, they make it happen. The more money you have the more you love them.

To be honest though, I'm not going to sit here and crow about how great the Democrats are on this issue; because they are ALSO not great. It seems like Dems governments are beneficial to corporations (as opposed to working class) and Republicans are beneficial to rich individuals.

Wouldn't it be great if America had a political party that had the best interests of the working class at heart? Republicans will argue "rich people will create jobs so we need to empower them to support the the working class (so, essentially "Trickle Down".....it's a special kind of fantasy to think this is actually a thing). Between that and the goal of "lower taxes uber alles", I can understand why some folks may go/fall for that. Democrats are super inconsistent with job making policies but they ARE willing to pass legislation to do things that either keep them safe or enhance their life without them getting greater pay.

Absolutely. Let's not forget his big to do was tax cuts for the rich, at the demise of tax breaks taken away by him from the middle class to pay for those tax cuts. Proudly once back at Mar A Largo, Trump tells them "I just made you guys a whole lot richer."

It's just giving you a rough idea, if you want to think most of the murders are from those leaning right rather than left then go ahead. There is no exact definition of right or left, but being that conservatives are pro-police and law and order and a lot of the leftist policies such as defund the police, lack of school choice, promotion of racism, etc. promote crime in inner cities it is not hard to see. Murders in Chicago are going to continue until the progressives are out of there, it makes me sick that a lot of these kids have little chance to escape.

The poor are being hit the hardest by the runaway inflation created by the Democrats. Joe could drop the regulations he has imposed on oil and gas and it would make a quick huge difference. He's won't do it.
