You claim he is the Israeli people's choice. Not.
March 3, 2020 - who won the election for Prime Minister?

I stated the FACT he is the Prime Minister of the country. I stated he was DEMOCRATICALLY elected as Prime Minister. I stated the Schumer is trying to overturn a Democratically elected head of a foreign country through threats and intimidation.

That is what I stated.

Prime Minister of Israel's response to the over reaching Democratic congressman:

Bash asked Netanyahu on CNN's State of the Union: "Will you commit to new elections when the war winds down?"
"That's something for the Israeli people to decide. I think it's ridiculous to talk about it," the Israeli leader replied.
He added: "It's like after 9/11— you're in the midst of fighting the war against Al-Qaeda and an Israeli would say, you know what we need now is either new elections in the U.S. or if your system doesn't allow then President Bush should resign, and we should have an alternative leader. You don't do that. You don't do that to a sister democracy, to an ally."

Maybe somebody should have done that. If Bush had resigned after 9/11, we probably would've avoided the Iraq War.

With Cheney as president?

I just want to point out this war isn't an issue of land promises...

It's an issue of terrorists attacking Israel, and the need to get Hamas out of Gaza.

I sincerely agree with Mosab Hassan Yousef about some things, and disagree with others, but it's good for people to listen to what he has to say. He started speaking again since October attack. He gave the below talk about 3 months ago.

I agree with Senator Joe Biden

Quote:

Why is there any incentive for the Arabs to make any compromise.. if they know that they must only wait — for the U.S. will do their bargaining for them...

“The absurd notion that publicly vilifying Israel will somehow change its policy.”

....What audacity to believe he knows what 'is best interest" for another nation. Using your position and funding to pressure another nation to do what you want is worse than quid pro quo and he should be censured and made to apologize to Israel.
If you dont want other people making judgements about your policies, maybe dont take a ton of their money.

If the shoe were on the other foot, would you want Israel to tell us we ought remove our freely elected President?

Wait, did Schumer propose an unconstitutional leadership change in Israel? Sounds like youre suggesting that.

He was suggesting Israel replace their Leader. Which makes no sense because the people of Israel are behind their leader. Does Schumer think what he says has great power or something over the people? He’s delusional.
If the people decided to replace their leader they will in a free election.

Ok. But that doesnt answer the question I was asking.

The shoe that you put on the other foot has Israel proposing we depose our president prior to elections. Thats what it sounds like anyway. If Israel proposed an unconstitutional leadership change in USA.... yeah, Id be offended - especially when so much money flows from us to them.

Netanyahu has already said that if the US stops its support, it won’t change their desire to eliminate Hamas and anyone else who chooses to attack them.

Back to the topic:

The political fallout from Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's recent speech calling for new elections in Israel continues to land, as prominent Jewish leaders cited "deep reservations" with his remarks in a statement on Tuesday.
"Our member organizations, representing the broad swath of American Jewry, remain distressed that an American official would tell a sovereign, democratic ally when to conduct its electoral process," the leaders of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Harriet P. Schleifer and William Daroff, said in a statement.
Member groups in the conference include the Anti-Defamation League and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. The conference's statement on Schumer's speech — which described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government as an "obstacle to peace" in the region — said the U.S.-Israel alliance has benefited from "close and confidential discussion of its leadership, which continues to be the appropriate forum for such conversations."

Once the truth is discovered, it‘s simple and very easily understood.
If I’m wrong, show me the text that refutes what I’m saying.
Can I respectfully request you opening a thread on this other subject - it is derailing this one - which is about Church Schumer trying to influence and election.

Thank you.

It’s obvious Chuck Schumer is trying to influence the election. That’s his job..
I thought everyone knew that.

I don’t see how Chuck Schumer’s comments this week could have any impact on Israel’s elections that are as of now still over 2 years away. There is simply no election going on for him to influence in any way by simply expressing an opinion. The only way I can see this in any way threatening Netenyahu’s grip on power is if his grip is already very weak.

Schumer is actually calling for a coup. You need to be able to read between the lies.
