Deeper Fellowship...

It's the day after THanksgiving (or was)...I had a sobering experience with my family..none of it made any sense and it came from nowhere. Please pray for me, my family.

Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You for the God that You are. We thank You for the humbleness in which You try to come to us each and every day. Lord, I pray for my Sister, Brinny and her family that they will have peace and understanding that can only come from You. Please help her family to get along and learn Your spiritual gifts better, especially at the upcoming Christmas holiday. Please help Brinny to know that she is never alone and that You are there even when her family is going through all that they are going through. Help her to know for certain that she is Yours and she can talk with You about anything at any time and You will hear her. Please help her to remember that the Holy Spirit which gave Your Son life after death is in her and that You are part of her and see the same things that she does. Help her to stay strong during these times, and help her to know that You are there to help her. Help her to know that she is set apart from others maybe even in her own family that do not truly know You and Your grace. Father, please help Brinny's family to come closer to You through her life and the way that she lives it. In this we ask in Jesus mighty name, Amen

Wow, I don't know what happened to this thread while I was away, but I'm glad you are all still fellowshipping and holding each other up in the Lord. Thank you all (you know who you are) for spreading the word that this is a fellowship thread, and we are here to hold each other up as such.

Mornings are not my best time I often feel very emotional and today was no exception.
I wrote a message to someone and this word suddenly came to my heart.

I was having a rough morning too...had a rough night...but had Psalm 134 to sing from...during the night...He has been giving me songs from the word lately to get me through hard days...

Come, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who stand by night in the house of the Lord!

Lift up your hands to the holy place, and bless the Lord, and bless the Lord.

Please pray for me and for Stacey. Her daughter left my son some disturbing voice mails last night. They are 12 and she wanted him to come and visit her. NOT! I am very upset and have sent what I think is an appropriate email to her mother, Stacey. I have spelled out the boundaries, but I think she will be angry. Pray for God's protection for my Josh and for me, please. It is rough where I live. I try to stay to myself and to help out when it is obvious that I am called to do so. Treading water here financially and spiritually. Thanks friends.

Thank you for the answer to prayer which Freed recieved. Bless you for bringing peace once more in her heart and mind. I pray your protection on her and her son.....guard them from evil and keep them safe under the wings of your love, I pray. Bless you, Lord Jesus.....and I thank you too for ministering to angelwind. How blessed are the times we are alone with you, Lord, and you just fill us with your peace. I agree. Believe it or not, there was disagreement with this with my family....whether to pray together before 'dealing' with each other about a coming-from-nowhere-uproar...there is NO way 'dealing' can be done in the flesh.

Dealing with ANYTHING in the flesh is leaving God out of it because we can do it on our own? Really? It was like my family had been replaced by aliens...it was like I didn't know who they were, and yes, they are Christians.

It is a sorry state of affairs. I don't even know what to say to God at this point. I'm speechless.

praying for this situation brinny . . . seems alot of families are going through difficult times right now . . . the enemy is busy trying to steal, kill and destroy . . . we wrestle not against flesh and blood . . . for me that is sometimes hard to remember . . . the flesh gets in the way sometimes . . . You are a precious child of GOD and I will continue to lift you up in prayer . . .

God, please be with Brinny in a special way. We know that family is a trying place for our Christianity, at least it has been for me. It has been a place where I have had to learn to forgive and forget and forgive again. My family do not profess to be Christians. But, I have had to repent over and over again of my faults. But, that is me. God protect Brinny and help her to make sense of all these things that transpired. Help her to see any good from all this. Heal anything hurting, bless and protect her emotionally. Get her to the right spiritual friends and calm her. God Bless you my sister in the Lord. Be healed.

It's late, but I wanted to stop in share how God can take a web of confusion and a bunch o' knots, and slowly and oh so gently un-ravel them, and loosen the web's chokehold.

He did so today. So very gently it was like He unraveled what was hiding Him, and uncovered my heart and eyes to see beyond the bizarre-ness, and see HIM. By looking at Him, I understood. I was able to see beyond the faults and see the needs of my family. It's a beginning.

Only by His grace....only by His grace...only by gazing into His wonderful face...can I see clearly and not be sidetracked. I know who the 'real' enemy is. There's no reason to fret, no reason to sigh, cause my Lord has already won...and I will see it all clearly by and by.....

He is my Champion....it ain't my fight...cause know what? He'll make it ALL work out all right.

and glory be
I'm gonna shout
and sing praises
wherever I goes....

Oh Lord help. Forgiveness is a stickler for me. But YOur grace makes it possible and I thank You for that. By Your grace make it so. Enable me to let it go. I leave it all in YOur hands...You know how mine are. In the transition of this time of sifting, may YOur glory shine. Bring to pass all that YOu ordained since before the foundation of the world. May Beauty rise up from ashes. May praise and thanksgiving be our language. Hone each of our hearts so that we live and breathe YOu. May it be so, in the name of YOur only begotten Son, amen.

Oh, Brinny!! I am so glad that this time of "shut-down" was short for you!!! What a beautiful prayer, and it gives us hope when we can do that for one another. I know how it can be to seem like the Lord is not in your presence, and trust me, these times will be more short-lived as you grow more and more closer to Him.

Let the Spirit of Christ come over you like a wave.

He is inside of you and me. We are coming up on the Christmas season, and I just want to remind everyone that we have received the Holy Spirit through the power of that beautiful Babe which layed in a manger. Remembering that we received that gift is the heart of the Spirit of Christmas.

blessed deeper fellowshippers! How are you today? Sounds like the Lord was hard at work while we were fast asleep last night from the looks of all these answered prayers, etc. in this thread. He is so awesome.

I don't know about any of you . . . but I'm noticing that the colder it gets the less of a hurry I am in to get out of bed in the morning. Having a little trouble clearing out the cobwebs this a.m. How about you? Could you use an extra cup o java this morning?

Fellowship Builds Faith
I believe that we can see clearly from scripture the importance of fellowship with our brothers and sisters and how it builds our faith. I honestly believe that we cannot stay strong in our faith without contact with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
