Deeper Fellowship...

Fellowship is a wonderful idea, but sometimes we don't go as deep as we would like to. You know when someone asks "How are you doing?" That is such surface stuff, I think we can do better than that as a Christian family. The pat answer for that is "I'm fine." Which really stands for Frustrated Insecure Neurotic And Emotional....and even though there are people who would feel this way, we never really get to know that. If we went a little below the surface stuff, maybe we can get a feeling of real fellowship on here. One of the problems with that on the internet also is the people who come on and just blast others for putting their feelings on the line, and that is the reality and shame that we face on here too. If we see that, lets stand up for each other in peace and love.

There are so many one anothers in the Word that we can be doing even here on the internet for each other, and I believe we tend to neglect that.

Just for the record....I'm doing great today!! Please pray for my ministry as we go out to spread the good news. I would really appreciate it...this is just one of the one anothers that Jesus is talking about...we need to pray for one another on a somewhat personal basis. Is there anything I can pray for you about?

1) I am struggling and at a crossroad's with a couple things in my life -- the church I am attending and where I work.

2) Please people pray for the children I work with and children everywhere. I am seeing the direct results and consequences of our Lord being taken out of homes, schools, etc. and I can't say its good.

3) Please pray for a spirit that is in our church that needs to be gone. Christians should not be caddy, negative, and rude to one another and they are.

I will certainly be praying for your job, the children you work with - I know, I have something for you to read that I will post in a few minutes about God being taken out of the schools - and I will pray for your church for them to remember Who is the most important One that needs their focus, and that the Lord rebuke the condemning spirit. You are wonderful for joining us here!

I am not well today. I have been up since 3 am and have been feeling under the weather.

Hello Cameron! Thank you for joining us here! I will be happy to keep you and your family in my prayers. Your mother-in-law sounds like she has a major hard time coming her way. That will be difficult. I hope she has someone to rely on after the surgery such as a husband or someone like yourself that will be there for her. But it sounds like you have your hands full with moving and trying to sell property before buying another...on top of that you are sick...I am so sorry that this is happening to you. I will keep you in my prayers throughout the day that the Lord help make you well again, helps your mother-in-law get through her operations and that your family feel at home again soon. Please drink lots of fluids and get as much sleep as you can in the meantime...it will make a world of difference.

Great Thread Meek One!! What is your ministry?
I am sending out over 100 christmas cards to people in prison. Please pray for them that GOD will use the card HE has me sending them draw them closer to HIM.

And please pray for Carol. She has been in prison for 14 years and has another three and a half to serve. She is getting discouraged. She thought she was getting out cause she killed a man in self defence but the appeal failed.

We also experience the evil spirit in the church thing...please pray for my church as well.

Also, I remind everyone how the times are changing, food prices are going up, tv brainwashing has no end, our youths minds are being evily corrupted by the evil corporations running the world today, nuclear war is moments away, and so on and so forth...

please, everybody I beg you...pray for the world in general every single day. There are billions in the world suffering and needing the Lords attention while we sit in our homes on the internet. I can't help but think if we all come together and let GOD know that we are good caring people, faithful loving brothers and sisters, he will shine some light on such an evil out-of-control world.

she didn't want any prayer in our schools.

And we said, OK...

someone said you better not read the Bible in school,
the Bible that says
"thou shalt not kill,
thou shalt not steal,
and love your neighbors as yourself,"

And we said, OK...

Dr. Benjamin Spock said
we shouldn't spank our children
when they misbehaved
because their little personalities
would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem.

And we said,
an expert should know what he's talking about
so we won't spank them anymore..

Then someone said
teachers and principals better not
discipline our children when they misbehave.
And the school administrators said
no faculty member in this school
better touch a student when they misbehave
because we don't want any bad publicity,
and we surely don't want to be sued.

And we accepted their reasoning...

let's let our daughters have abortions if they want,
and they won't even have to tell their parents.

And we said, that's a grand idea...

Then some wise school board member said,
since boys will be boys
and they're going to do it anyway,
let's give our sons all the condoms they want,
so they can have all the fun they desire,
and we won't have to tell their parents they got them at school.

And we said, that's another great idea...

Then some of our top elected officials said
it doesn't matter what we do in private as long as we do our jobs.

And we said,
it doesn't matter what anybody,
including the President,
does in private as long as we have jobs and the economy is good....

And someone else took that appreciation a step further
and published pictures of nude children
and then stepped further still by
making them available on the Internet.

And we said, everyone's entitled to free speech....

And the entertainment industry said,
let's make TV shows and movies that promote
profanity, violence and illicit sex...
And let's record music that encourages
rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes...

And we said,
it's just entertainment
and it has no adverse effect
and nobody takes it seriously anyway,
so go right ahead...

Now we're asking ourselves
why our children have no conscience,
why they don't know right from wrong,
and why it doesn't bother them to
kill strangers, classmates or even themselves.

Hello Brinny! I had a feeling I wasn't the only one who felt this way. We need deeper fellowship even online. We are the family of God, and we should help one another as much as we can. I am so glad you will be here with us. Thank you for praying for my ministry...please pray the the Lord will open the hearts of the people we come in contact with....you are an angel!

brother. I'm glad to see you up and around and feeling better. I lift up your church to God in heaven. Father please get rid of this horrid spirit that is infilling some of our churches. We need Your unconditional love and acceptance not a spirit of negativity and condemnation Lord.

Give us the wisdom, strength, and understanding to handle this situation as YOU would have us handle it Lord.
