Good morning, WATW! You sound well! I am so very thankful to God for all the wonderful people, things, and circumstances He has provided in my life. Mainly these things:

His life He gave for me, giving me salvation for eternity
His Word
His Holy Spirit
My life
My daughter
This world He has provided and the beauty in it
Protection for us that He provides daily
Discernment, Knowledge
My Spiritual Gift of Evangelism
Other Christians
My church home
My comfy home
My car
My job
People I work with
CF
food
clothing

I know there are many more, but can't think of it right now. Thanks for asking that question, it gave me a chance to reflect on the blessings He has given me, personally.

It has!!! Hey, I just got a call from Billy Graham Ministries, and the man prayed with me for my daughter! I let him know that she just turned 15 on Saturday and asked him to pray for her that she stay on God's path and that God show her His will for her life always, and the prayer he said was absolutely amazing!!!

He left off with giving me a wonderful verse that I will post here, and said to read it and to tell God that I will count on His promise here:

Isaiah 59:21
As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Father, I am counting on Your promise here to keep my daughter with You always. She is Yours and You will keep her, I know. In Jesus' name, Amen

Short one for now....she belongs to God....she is in His strong, mighty, and very capable hands.

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. My Mother in law will be moving into the new house with us so that we can help take care of her. Luckily there is plenty of room in this new house for all of us. It is a two story house with full kitchens on both floors. She will have what is basically her own apartment.

As soon as I get home from Work I am going to bed

God Bless you, your family and your mother-in-law. Knee surgery, well I hope they will do only one at a time. I had arthroscopy on November 4th and it was not all that bad. I am doing pretty well. Nobody helped me but my 12 year old son and although I appreciate him, he did not do much. I don't mean that complaining...just have hope....I did not really need that much help. I was driving in a few days and almost back to normal. I know that is not knee replacement, but I never expected to recover this quickly. Medical procedures have changed drastically. People did offer to help, to be fair, but I needed things only I could do. Banking, shopping.

But, prayers for you all and it is wonderful you have your mother-in-law with you. I have a 63 year old sister in the Lord, just a blessing, she has no where to live. If I could, I would take her in. Maybe in the future I can. I plan to if God provides. God Bless you for your mercy and grace on her. You will be rewarded by the Lord.

I wanted to let you know that this morning the Lord touched my heart in a special way and asked me to come into a deeper walk with him. I felt His presence so heavily it made me weep. Then a few minutes ago, I found this thread. I feel this is a drawing of the Lord to Himself and to share with you other Lovers of Jesus here. God Bless and know I will be praying, too.

Please Pray for me I was belittled for what I believe on another forum. I have cerebral palsy and while I believe God can heal, I know he does always heal in the way we 'expect'. When I expressed this I was told I was not believing properly. Now everytime I here such arguements I always doubt myself please pray my faith will be secure in Jesus, because I do feel upset that people one has trusted can turn on one.

I'm soooo sorry Karen that you experienced such hurt. I will lift you up to Abba. Humans are changeable and unreliable.....it's because we are but dust. But God isn't. He never changes.

Father in Karen's hurt be ever more present. Fill in the gaps left by the ones who were in her heart and hurt her. Embrace her and surround her with Your loving kindness and tender mercies. Minister to her as only You can do. Remind her how very precious she is to You, and plant a song in her heart and spirit that nothing can remove. Remove all that is not of You from her and the grace to bear what she must. In the meantime send angels of mercy to protect and lift her up as she places her trust in You with all her heart, in the name of Your only begotten Son, amen.

Father we have soooo many needs. We grow weary, we tire, we hurt so easily. We're frail, we're but dust. Without Your very breath we are no more. It is by Your grace alone that we stand, speak, and have our being. And we speak. We lift our needs to You. We lift each others burdens, for where else can we bring them, but to You, our Rock, our Fortress, our Deliverer, our Friend, our Abba.....You, Who walked with Adam in the cool of the day. How it must have ripped YOur heart to witness the seperation that cast him and us far from YOu. That You sent Your only Son to bring us back to You is too inexplicably grace-laden, that we cannot fathom, it, or You. But in our weakness and limitations, we come. We bring it all to You. As a little child runs to their Daddy with no reservations we run to YOu, into Your arms. WE bring all the broken pieces, our weariness, our hurts, our disappointments, our sorrows, and our grief. And we lay them all at YOur feet, for they are too heavy for us to bear. THank You that You know our frame. That You are our strength, our hope, the Lifter of our heads. Meet each of our needs and minister to us as only You can do, in the name of Your only begotten Son, amen.
