I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to find all these neat graphics. It would be nice to insert some into certain messages.
Quote this and look to the smilies at the side. Expand to more and you will see the symbols to insert where you want them. hope that helps

Thank you for your post. It was encouraging. I know sometimes advice, etc. especially when someone doesn't understand or it's ill advice it can feel completely invalidating like your invisible and they don't really care to see you or your pain. You are so right. Thanks. :pink:

Your welcome. But your absolutely right about feeling invalidated. I was once the "Invalidator", if there is such a word I'd be the definition. This was mainly my flaw, giving advice when the other person just needs someone to listen. My issue was that I like to hear myself talk sometimes :sorry:. You know the saying are you just talking to hear yourself talk? Well, i would've answered yes. That is why its important to desire what God desires in seeing people as He does. That is my prayer now, that I look at people through the Lords eyes.

I agree. I also can talk a lot. I went through quite a bit of this. I think some times I talked to shut out what others at times wanted to tell me (advice) or ask. I've had to deal with some rather interesting stuff and with that comes a lot of questions, etc. at times. Also, I have a difficult time concentrating at times because I deal with chronic illness and felt dumb pausing with dead air so I would keep on chattering while I was thinking. This was ironic because my chattering sounded rather foolish and rude. So now I just pause quietly when I need to regardless. How silly. Any way. I'm glad we have these little chats. I won't be able to chat for a couple of days but I'll be praying for you guys. Take care. :prayer:

I just got back. I had some medical appointments and stuff. Things went well. I had a heart test done that seemed iffy but things are fine so I'm grateful. The rest of the chronic illness pain and fatigue the specialist again said I'll be dealing with for years but I'm on the right track to getting help so this is a big relief because it's taken me a long time to get things on the right track. I'm glad God is working things out even though at times I have questioned this. I'm thankful for the reminder that He's real and bigger than all the earthly nonsense. Enough of me being mushy; I missed our little chats. I find it amusing just to talk about little quirky things in life. :p Take care.

welcome back  Glad things are looking up. I get blood tests done tomorrow for my thyroid levels *ugh*. I agree though; God is bigger than our situation. These days, I'm just learning to find the joy in that "thorn in my side". I know God's kept it there for a reason, and its been revealing itself these past 5mos or so. My husband teases me and tells me "I can't wait to see what God is going to do with you when your on the loose." :p

I hear you. Boy do I hear you. God keeps that thorn in our side for a reason. I know I have learned a lot and have grown closer to God through my stuff. However, when I'm going through tough feelings it's hard to keep the positive in mind. Thanks for sharing. Honest fellowship makes a difference. It's good to have that sense of humor too. I think it keeps me level-headed. If that makes sense. I have a poster on my fridge that I got from a clinic. It says, "I have entered the snapdragon part of my life. Part of me has snapped and the rest of me is draggin'".

I am not exactly a newbie but I am coming back to this board after one that I was Admin on for three years closed down due to inactivity. It seems message boards are getting slow these days. So I will be posting on here more often.

I am 50 years old. US navy Retired.
