Deep space or deep ocean.

I was just wondering if there were any explorers out there and If given the chance, with the technology needed would you rather explore the deaths of space or the depths of our oceans.

Seeing that there are dangers in both areas and huge potential for discovery. I would think both would provide a measure of danger

Isn't there a group of volunteers soon to do just that? They're training for the first human passenger journey to Mars?

I'd rather deep space as well. The Ocean is wonderful and yet one can only go so far before they're at crush depth.
Space may afford something similar but at least you journey further before it's lights out.

No longer true... We can go to the bottom of the Meriana Trench.. no problem.... Remote control submersibles can do it easily.. manned subs are a bit more difficult. James Cameron just did it a while back I believe.
