I believe there's an afterlife of some sort, but I'm not too concerned. I prefer to live my life as it is, and let the future sort itself out. And if it turns out there really isn't an afterlife... well, I won't care once I'm gone.

My concept of the afterlife is much different from yours. I believe that if I'm going anywhere, it will be with my Gods. If I'm lucky, I may even wind up in the care of my patron... and if that happens, it will be very much in my best interest to let go of my concerns. His path is not an easy one, and there's nothing to be gained by worrying about it.vanshan said:This life is just a flash-fire compared to the life to come. well, there are the litteral cases of where someone was clinically dead (so far as one has come across, such cases are from surgeon reports), but still came back and lived.HouseApe said:There are what, 6 billion people on this planet? Does any one of them have any verifiable evidence at all that we do anything other than cease to exist? And I don't mean what somebody said after a heart attack. I mean something we could all walk up to and say "yeah, wow! Look! There really is life after death!". No? Then why would anybody think it would be true?
Shouldn't people who believe this stuff at least be willing to say that you just hope it's true, but you can't really know?
