Death?

I can have faith in an afterlife, but that doesn't stop me from secretly hoping (and believing, yet hoping to quench that belief) that there is nothing after this life. I do my best to have faith that there is something after this, something to do with heaven and hell and trusting Jesus, but yet, I wish all too often that there were nothing, and we didn't have to worry so much about converting others.

I think you've taken liberties in interpretting my post to place yourself in the position of a victim.

You don't think calling someone stupid is an insult?Sometimes I tend to question the mental abilities of someone that can't seem to differentiate between reality and a hoped for fantasy.

Has anyone here been with someone as they died. I sat at my sisters side as her body shut down. I had no idea that after she died, I would experience the most beautiful peace, no one else in the room felt it. I felt her walk right through me and I know for a fact she was walking with Jesus. Such calmness, such beautiful peace. I was able to sign the papers and drive everyone home. This was not called shock, or anything like that.. It stayed with me for a long time, and I am so thankful for it.... I have no doubt that there is a heaven, that there is a God.

I believe there is nothing after death. Death is just a neverending, dreamless, sleep.

I believe in God - but I don't neccesarily believe He wants our company.

Why would you think He created you if He did not love you and want your company?
