Now why should I watch a chemist manage to find the age of the earth, when I probably already agree with said chemist as to how old the earth is?You should watch it. You might enjoy it. It starts with the work of a chemist who managed to find the age of the Earth.

I have no idea what you're talking about, Seipai.I didn't say you would like that part now, did I.
Try again.
I have no idea what you're talking about, Seipai.
What on earth does that have to do with anything? The man that was featured in most of tonight's Cosmos was the man who was largely responsible for getting lead out of gasoline.
To measure the age of the Earth he had to make the first "clean lab". He used the same technology to show how dangerous leaded gasoline was to everybody. Lead was measurably building up in peoples bodies due to the lead in gasoline.
What on earth does that have to do with anything?
I don't know how old that man is, but I'm guessing I could have told him how old the earth is without lead in my gasoline.
All he had to do was ask me.
Bet me.No, you couldn't have.
I don't care if the man is a taxi driver. Not when he did his work at any rate.
Let's leave history out of this, chief. You have no clue when it comes to the history of this planet.
Bet me.
I don't care if the man is a taxi driver.
I'll still tell him how old I think the earth is.
Let's leave history out of this, chief.
We're talking the age of the earth, and I'm actually agreeing with what scientists say ... so this whole conversation is pointless, isn't it?
Of course, agreeing with you guys isn't enough, is it?
That's because it's not what we say that counts, it's what we are.
Right?
Yup.You are not really agreeing. You are of course being typically dishonest.
And yes, agreeing with us is not enough when you are arguing dishonestly.
Yup.
Here comes the insults now.
That's good though, as it is -- unfortunately -- the only indication I have that I've gotten through.
You should watch it. You might enjoy it. It starts with the work of a chemist who managed to find the age of the Earth. That part you probably will not enjoy. It shows how to get the age of the Earth he had to develop the firsts "clean laboratory". He used that technology when it came to see how dangerous lead in gasoline could be. So next time you are cussing out a gas station for its oil prices remember it probably would be far worse for creationists if they were allowed to continue their polluting practices.
I have not insulted you. It is against the rules here to insult someone, no matter how much they have earned those insults.
I'm sure you treat the binble just the same way, but lacks the spine to admit it.Wrong.
I pick and choose carefully from Wikipedia.
If it supports my point, I'll use it.
If it doesn't support my point, it can take a hike.
Now why should I watch a chemist manage to find the age of the earth, when I probably already agree with said chemist as to how old the earth is?
If I believe the Apostle Philip was transported to Azotus in a split second of time, and a shrewdness of scientists believe Philip walked to Azotus over a definite period of time, I don't need to see a video of a man baptizing an Ethiopian eunuch, then walking up to Azotus. What you really need to be asking is why people would use the scientific method and follow evidence the evidence to a supported conclusion.
I would like to know what in the world you mean by "it probably would be far worse for creationists if they were allowed to continue their polluting practices".?
Explain what you mean please.

It is good enough for me that we both agree that Philip was in Azotus.
