Does any one else find themselves struggling with what is said while playing games online? Sometimes I find myself not being who I should be and saying things I realize I shouldn't have. Am I alone here or do you guys suffer from it as well, and how do you deal with it?

When I'm on Xbox Live (I tend to play alot of Halo and Modern Warfare 2, the worst games for stupid chatter.), I normally don't even plug my mic in, I can't be bothered to deal with the stupidity, either that or I'm in party chat with my friends, to silence all the stupid.

I play halo a lot, and I just mute whoever is talking annoyingly, the bad language doesn't bother me that much though. Some times its hard not to curse when 80% of your team quits because its not the game type/map they want.

I had one time where it really bothered me and I shouldn't have let it.
I usually only put on a mic when I'm playing with a group of friends. I've learned to control myself and what I say. It's hard to on Live.
But yeah, FPS's are usually the worst. Still get some of them in Fighting games (which is mainly what I play), but most people don't even use mics in them, so at worst, I'm dealing with a hateful text message.
