Proverbs 5:

Everywhere we go.

Yes, God is WITH us, ev'ry where we go. Of COURSE He is. Aren't we to be "walking with God"?

Where ELSE is He gonna be? On a SHELF somewhere?

The bottom line is, do we WANT God WITH us, ev'ry where we go? Do we really WANT to "walk with God"?

"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" ~Mic 6:8

Proverbs 5:

I'm thankful that He DOES see ev'ry step we take and that He PONDERS over us, and our steps, and all that we think, and say, and do, and knows and ponders all that is in our hearts. He is watchful, just as a GOOD Shepherd WOULD be.

Amen?

Proverbs 5:

Listening.

It is a BLESSING that God intends for us when we give heed to His warnings and instructions. He is a GOOD Shepherd, and He WILL guide us safely, if we but give heed to His Words. And in doing so, we become wise and escape many snares and pits of destruction.

Amen.

Pr 5:21
For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all your paths. NIV
Both comforting and frightening at the same time! Here's to more comfort and less fright....

Well yes, but He IS a GOOD Shepherd, and His rod and His staff not only "guide" us, but also protect us, yes?

Proverbs 5:

God "Sees".

God sees ALL things that we face, and stumble through, the hardships, the injustices, and the pains and the sorrows and griefs.

He has not forgotten us. He is right there with us, and even when He seems "silent", He is very present. That is why we are to remember and to cleave to His promises during those times that He seems absent, so that we will continue to have hope in the midst of what might seem hopelessness.

"For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings." ~ Pr 5:21

Proverbs 5:

Embracing Life.
AKA: Man: like a moth to a flame.
AKA: Fatal Attraction.
AKA: Death Wish.

"His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray." ~Pr 5:22-23

God gives us clear admonition and warnings and instruction in His Word, especially in Proverbs. It is the "wise" who are drawn to His instruction and who "give heed" to His Words. We avoid "death", literally when we seek His Words and are "hungry" for Him and His Word.

Throughout God's Word, He asks us why we would choose to "die before our time", such as in this verse:

"why shouldest thou die before thy time?" ~Eccles 7:17

May we seek God and His precious gift of wisdom and reject the "inclination to gravitate towards death" like a "death wish" and/or like a moth to a flame.

Proverbs 5:

God is Watching.
AKA: Reassurance.

It's reassuring that God always "sees" us, even if we forget He's there, because life is so distracting, and He is not "visible" to our very limited and finite "vision".

Yet there HE is, like the GOOD Shepherd that He is. His eyes are ALWAYS on His "sheep".

Praying that more and more come into His fold.

After all, is there a "safer" and more "blessed" place to be?

Proverbs 5:

Their Own Evil Entraps Them.

Plotting evil towards others ALWAYS boomerangs back to its source. Only a fool plots evil against others and doesn't expect that every link of evil they form, doesn't link together like Scrooge's Marley's chains did. What comes to fruition is evil, tethered to the one plotting evil. How tragically foolish to be tethered to these chains till their dying breath, and therefore lost for all eternity.

What a terrible and tragic reaping what they have sown, with no remedy. How even more tragic that they have stubbornly and foolishly rejected the only REMEDY, remaining stiff-necked to their very last breath.

"He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy." ~Pr 29:1
