Pro 29:9 If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest. 11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. 20 Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him. 23 honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

Pro 29:13 The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the LORD lighteneth both their eyes.

Verse 10: The godly pray for those who long to kill them.

this verse parallels Matthew 5:44
44 But I say: Love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!

So true in this day and age, with the problems that Christians have in coming up against the terrors of 'isis'.
I have just read 'Secret Believers' from Open Doors, where believers are having to do just what Jesus says...

Hi,

Much of that Proverb is my life.

Proverbs 29:18, made my life easier today.

I am for others, the same way God is, to make their lives easier.

It is less stunning, the why me now, of my life, now.

God always chooses someone to give visions to, for all His other Children.

LOVE, (My best remembrance of the way God actually loves.)
...Mary., .... .

Reminds me of this:

In reading Proverbs 29, this verse stood out for me.

This is powerfully profound. For if we have the proper "fear of the Lord" (regard, honor, respect, awe, the bending-of-our-knees-kind), we have NO fear of man.

Godly fear is a recognition of the Sovereign Majesty of God.
