Proverbs 12:
This is sooooo true. And it's powerful. Encouragement and a kind word are like medicine to a downcast heart and head. God's own are used by God to be an encourage-er and lifter-up-er of the downcast head and heart.
Precious.
"But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head." ~Psalm 3:3

Proverbs 12:
Staying grounded.
AKA Deep Roots.
God wants our feet on the ground, so to speak. He wants us to be wise, discerning, and "grounded", and to be solidly "rooted" in Him, and thus "rooted" in His wise wise Words that take "root" in our hearts, and that are the very "manna" and nourishment that feed these roots. This is the epitome of "stability" and thus "wisdom", which is the antithesis of "drama" and distraction, and "chasing fantasies", and the ensuing derision and toxicity that follows, that man is so prone to.![]()
Being "grounded", with deep roots = sanity = peace.
