This verse really stopped me in my tracks.

What came to mind is the second part....that even tho' a wicked man/woman can appear to do things that are "kind", deeep in their heart, there's no genuine kindness or compassion, because for instance they might take up a cause for something that has what looks like a smidgen of kindness to it, when it comes right down to the nitty gritty, this very same one can advocate for, fight for, and/or participate in the most heinous form of cruelty. And that is the cold-blooded and brutal murder of the most helpless and innocent amongst us, without blinking an eye.
