At my age, most single women are nothing but red flags to me. Gold diggers abound.

don't think too many older women want to marry older men, either
no women is looking to marry someone so she can end up being a caretaker

best years of marriage are when one is young
I take that back... we didn't become parents right away & parenthood is great

I’ll take my chances and remain single. At my age, most single women are nothing but red flags to me. Gold diggers abound.

That goes both ways. There's a lot of men wanting to be kept. I wouldn't call them gold diggers.

What about neither happy nor unhappy? Because I'm at a point in my life where I'd like to be with someone, but have also been through enough less-than-great situations to know that being in a bad relationship is ultimately worse than just being single.

When we’re in a place of peace we draw the same. If we seek connections to fill a void we’ll attract the same. The key is dwelling with God, enjoying the moments, and being content.

They’ll be periods of loneliness. That’s inevitable. But they shouldn’t dominate the day. Nor should singleness be an excuse for stasis or apathy. We’re meant to live.

Life begins at birth. Not the altar. :)

No. I'm speaking of putting your life on hold and resting on your laurels until the person comes. Versus the person who lives with godly conviction of being a good spouse and servant. You'll use your time wisely and be more attractive than the one who squanders it.
