Dating A Divorced Man???

In heaven we will be like the angels living eternally. Our sole purpose in heaven will be praising God. We will not be given in marriage in heaven such relationships will not exist! Do not be saddened by that though, our joy will be so, so great that we cannot even contemplate it. Our relationship will be solely with God.

Revelation 21:4
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Every sin and sorrow will be completely forgotten.

I think we will still remember those who we knew in this life (just like Lazarus did in Luke 16.)

Just because a man is older does not give him much more wisdom than you! God also gave you wisdom and you need to use it instead of depending on a older man.

It's like giving alcohol to a flower instead of water, you're going to get poisoned by his ways.

Please keep away from him. There are so many beautiful men out there that would love you and your son...let God take a hold of your hand and let him lead you to a good one!

thank you all so much. I really did not understand the heaven acceptance as far as one and all. I just think if I was never married and date a divorced man, I am not judging and giving him a chance. Maybe none of those women were right in there life in one way or another and they did cause him pain like planning pregnancy against his will. So if the separate and one moves on, I am hope I am not a adulteress for dating him after divorce. his ex wife married and had children after divorce,not him, he had kids prior though, I will ask a chaplain. thank you all so much.

he admits I have a very deep spiritual life and wishes he could e on that level as I am. He is older then me, but I been through a lot and know what I want and what I do not want, like any surprises. I just thought maybe I am being too hard on him for being married.

I know, I have no family really, my family was not so Godly, but I have a few christian family members now. I just want whatever man I am with to be with me, love me and enter into the kingdom of God. I want us to live a Godly life on earth, and please God with our spirits , choices and bodies

That is what mine said to me and being spiritual...and it became the opposite, I was changed by his ways so I could "fit it" with his needs and not God's.

Chaplin's are no more different to us in this thread though they may deal with these situations more and therefore may have more knowledge of scripture which relates to these situations. Would you mind coming back and letting us hear his/her response, or if you don't want to do that, perhaps you could private message me? Of course if you are not keen on letting me hear the response you do not have to do that.

He is trying to help me change for the better though, like become a God pleasing woman, it is hard to believe he has been divorced. He wants me to be more of a house wife and do christian things like help the needy children not model like I wanted to do. I think he has been used and hurt himself by woman, and I do not think he is that bad of a man, just divorced and seperated

Mine wanted me to be the housewife and raise the kids....because you are young he is going to take advantage of that and change your thinking.

Mine did all those things.

Trust me...even I could get into modeling BUT I refuse too, because it's not my thing. You're a beautiful woman...but God has something more beautiful for you....a bright future that is waiting for you to discover when you're ready to let this man go.

I'm trying to help/save your from heartbreak BUT we all have free will. Continue going down this path and you'll suffer more than you are now.

Just to clarify further,

Those people who believe and do the following are those who are accepted into Heaven and are therefore saved from Hell:

a) Believe Jesus is the son of God and believe he died for our sins
b) Repent for the sins they have committed and change their ways
c) Pray and ask God to send the Holy Spirit to come and live in them that they may come into the full knowledge of the truth

People who refuse to believe that Jesus is the son of God and do not believe he died for their sins will end up in Hell.

I have many relatives who do not believe in what Jesus has done, they will end up in Hell for rejecting him.

I have to go to bed now it's really late.

that is what he says. I was working my life around modeling and not God, he helped me put that in to perspective. I was so worried about lipo and breast implants, he tells me, that is not Godly.
