[Out of the Flames]

My doc gave me some relpax samples, but I've been too chicken to try them. Mostly because I figure it'll just knock me out (which it sounds like it did to you!).

Actually, the Relpax didn't work, which is why I passed out. I've only taken it 4 times, so I don't know if I need to keep with it, take it when the headache is in its early stages or what, but these migraines are killing me.

This afternoon my friend unearthed from storage his former roommate's boxed-up collection of 600+ cds; this means we'll be recording to minidisc (at 4x speed) with our "vampire machines" for most of the evening... Nothing like expanding the music collection at minimal cost!

I have an interesting story for you all...tonight I went to Target to get a few things. Well, it was crowded and at one point I wasn't paying attention and this guy and his girlfriend nearly run into me. The guy says EXCUSE ME really loudly and acted like I should have been the one to stop for him. That didn't bother me so much, what bothered me was that when I rounded the corner I heard him call me "fat a**"....I'm pretty sure it was directed towards me unless he says stuff like that to his g/f/wife...she was really skinny also. That really ticked me off! It also made me sad because the way he said it was not jokingly or anything he seemed really really angry. I was already having a low self esteem day. I mean of all things he could have called me!

Can I give you some Scriptures to help you out alittle bit here. I know what you are going through myself, I too have those days when I let my doubts, and self pitty get to me. These Scriptures help me tho, and I hope that they can help you too.

DT 31:8 " The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."

PS 34:18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.

ISA 49:13 Shout for joy, O heavens! And rejoice, O earth! Break forth into joyful shouting, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted His people And will have compassion on His afflicted.

ISA 49:14 But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And the Lord has forgotten me."
ISA 49:15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
RO 5:5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Please do not let them get to you my dear. I know how hard it can get and how evil the people of this world are to other people.

I need a spotter anyway and you need to get out of Bellingham. It's no place for a young person. As a matter of fact, you could very well remain dateless living there because there aren't too many quality people there.

no I'm not fat, infact i'm a cross country runner and i have to live here its where i go to college! I like it here, but its true there arent that many quality people up here. SO you lived in scagit county. My did works for the gov't there! What a small world!

no I'm not fat, infact i'm a cross country runner and i have to live here its where i go to college! I like it here, but its true there arent that many quality people up here. SO you lived in scagit county. My did works for the gov't there! What a small world!

Skagit County is what I like to think of as Redneck Quaker country. There are a lot of beautiful, green expanses owned by the area rednecks who live very simply. Lord only knows why my parents love it there so much...

So, um, yeah. What fine school are you attending in WA? Western?

I made meatloaf! And it tastes really good I'm so happy that I finally made something like that. I usually go with making tacos or fajitas or something that's already made. But today I made myself some homemade meatloaf of my OWN recipe (modified version of the cookbook version). I wasn't sure it would turn out right because I've never made it before and man is it good! Hehe.

I made peanut butter cookies too...ya'll come have some food!

I am supposed to have my vacation time this week...it's really just a week for not doing interning or classes. I would love to go to Hawaii, Europe, Australia, Africa...ANYWHERE. I've never been out of the states.

Oh i'm just attending whatcom community college, but everyone else in my family goes to western I plan to leave this place though once i finish with my 2 year degree. I'm hoping to go to University of Washington after that! Lol skagit county is Redneck Quaker Country, but you know I kinda like it. This town is actually a drastic change from the last town i lived in, Ocean shores or as we like to call it Ocean Bores or Sores or Pores. Take your pick they all seem to describe that junky piece of filth, good for nothing strip of land. Put it this way, my sister graduated from high school there with a class of 9 people. There's only like 200 and somodd kids from 6-12, so to me bellingham is actually quite a large town!

I'm going to Cancun in October. I'm excited!

Check into some resorts- a lot of times, the all inclusive ones are pretty cheap during the off season.

I have never flown before and I do not know how I would take it. plus I just do not have the $$ to travel much. I would love to go visit the family that I have in my roots in Germany. But oh well I may one day.
