Technically, I really could have a date this weekend. My son and I could curl up, grab some Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream and some Nilla Waffers then watch cartoons or play "Memory". Actually, that's not a bad idea.

**raises hand** I'll be datelessly blissful this weekend. I'm going to my church's women's retreat this weekend! Never been before but I've heard it's a blast! Driving up with the girls.. they let us request rooms together too. It'll be good to focus on prayer for my bro before I see him off Sunday.

Actually, I'm working again this weekend. Saturday anyway. Then I have ministries training pretty much all day Sunday. Praise God that changes to the FLSA laws didn't affect my overtime compensation.

I may do something Saturday night. We'll see.

No dates for me this weekend, but that's ok; a friend is dragging me to a party Friday night (she says I need to get out) and then I have my cousin's wedding Saturday. That ought to keep me busy enough... but if you really want a date who's probaby 1000+ miles from you, screen away!

I'm in Modesto, the armpit of California!!!

It's rare that I get dragged out to do anything-- most of my friends are into just loafing around doing not much at all-- but I'm going to be up in Sacramento anyways for this wedding, so I was commanded to go to this party... I don't know how much fun it will be; I envision a bunch of neohippy activist types sitting around talking about the wonders of soy and String Cheese Incident and the evils of government and whatnot... Not so much my cuppa tea anymore...

No dates fer me other than meeting some frineds from Sunday School @ the Snow-To-Go on friday and then going beck their house to play some games.

Then Saterday I am helping run the wires for the sound system in our new church building. And then I need to practice my song for sunday morning.

If you have a dull, and boring life, come and stay by my side for about a week.

Happy Friday the 13th everyone-- I've already fallen victim! I was supposed to go to a training session this morning (even though it's my day off); I confirmed this yesterday, then found out this morning after getting there that it was cancelled. Too bad, I could have used the extra 3+ hours of sleep but there's too much caffeine surging through my veins...

I did get a chance to go to the bookstore and take some time off, it was nice. I was content. I know that sounds dull to most but it's one of my favorite things to do.

Bookstores rule-- especially the used variety! The library is nice because the books are free, but there's just something about a nice used bookstore. Quiet, filled with hidden treasures, and hopefully some nice overstuffed armchairs or couches in which to peruse said treasures... I think I might have to hit my favorite this afternoon!

And I've been meaning to do laundry for a week but I've been working until 10:00 at night. You know what I've learned? It's always still there when you get back.

Although I am getting dangerously close to having to come to work naked.
