"Is ad-hominem all you have left? The I don't think there's anything more to discuss. Rest assured that I am secure enough in my intelligence that your pathetic insults do not even warrant a real rebuttal from me. They merely reflect your own intelligence. Or lack thereof."

The above is a good example of how NOT to bow out when you've lost badly. The clear statements of Hitler, Speer and Goebbels are not ad hominems.

I believe that you're a bigot just as firmly as you believe that Hitler was a Christian. The difference being, I'm correct.

Why shouldn't I post something mildly amusing?  You certainly didn't post an intelligent or credible argument--and it wasn't anywhere close to amusing.

Realizing his "Hitler was a Christian" myth has run its course, Blader brings up the old KKK straw man.

The "myth" not only has run its course, it's trampled over every flimsy piece of evidence you have the Hitler is no Christian.

Actually, the KKK's roots are in Freemasonry. Go in virtually any Christian bookstore and you'll find books denouncing Freemasonry as being completely incompatible with Christianity.

Wow. If you say it, it must be true. Strawman, huh?

Let's see here, from the Klan's OFFICIAL WEBSITE FAQ: (http://www.kukluxclan.org)

Q. What role does religion play in The Knights?
A. We require for our members to profess a belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Well, so much for that "straw man" argument, huh? I think that pretty much seals the deal right there.

Continuing:

We do not require that a person belong to any particular denomination. The Knights is not, however, a religious organization. The Knights is a political organization who seeks to place Christian men and women into seats of public office.

Q. If the First Amendment states there is to be a separation of church and state, how can The Knights explain their goal of a Christian government?

A. We suggest you read the article Separation of Church and State: A Diabolical Lie. Not just The Knights, but many historians and well known religious leaders and constitutional attorneys all agree that the United States was founded as a Christian nation. The Supreme Court has even ruled that indeed America was founded as a Christian nation. We are not trying to change America, but rather return it to it's original form.

Albert Pike, one of the most influential Freemasons in history and an ardent enemy of Christianity, was a co-founder of the KKK.

Even if that is true, that says nothing about the current members, one more time, with feeling:

We require for our members to profess a belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

The occult influence in the KKK is unmistakable to anybody intelligent. Klan officers go by titles like "Imperial Wizard" and "Exalted Cyclops". They burn Crosses, the holiest symbol of the Christian faith. [/B]

Oooh. I was hoping you would get to that.

Q. Why do you burn the cross?
A. Many have been led to believe the Klan burns the cross as an act of desecrating a Christian symbol. Nothing could be further from the truth. The lighted cross is an old symbol used on the hillsides of Scotland. Many churches today use the lighted cross as a symbol. The Methodist church uses the cross with flames at its base sweeping up and around the cross. The Lutheran church uses the symbolism. When the Klan was founded there was not electricity. They could not light up a cross the way we light up a Christmas tree. Fire was used. The fire was used to symbolize the fiery light of Christ - a metaphor often used in the Bible. The Cross obviously is a symbol of Christianity. The Cross lighting ceremony gives honor to Jesus Christ.

The cross lighting ceremony was not used until the twenties. The original Klan of the 1800's did not use a lighted cross. When you see movies depicting Klansmen burning crosses in some black ex-slave family's home, this is a lie. This ceremony had not even been created yet.

The Klan's ( family tribes) of Scotland would use the lighted cross as a warning to other family tribes that danger was imminent. It came to symbolize a warning of tyranny in their midst. These two ideals of the cross lighting ( warning against tyranny and giving honor to the fiery truth of Christ) were combined to create the ku klux klan cross lighting ceremony. It is no more a desecration of the cross than it is for the American Legion to respectfully lay to peace an American flag by setting it on fire.

I can see it now:

"They're lying, they never said that, they actually meant they hate Christians."

Keep saying that. Maybe it will come true.

The clear statements of Hitler, Speer and Goebbels are not ad hominems.

Neither are the even clearer statements of Hitler, Goring, Engels, Himmler, Hess, and Streiching.

The uncalled for insult to my intelligence and accusations of anti-Christian bigotry, which is entirely unrelated to this discussion, IS ad-hominem. A good way to see who's losing the argument is to see who first starts bringing in the ad-hominems. Congratulations, you won first place.

I believe that you're a bigot just as firmly as you believe that Hitler was a Christian. The difference being, I'm correct.

Yes, you're about as correct as you are about the KKK or Hitler not being Christians.

What if I told you that Stalin and Lenin and Mao are evil, genocidal, maniacal, insane atheists? Would that make me an anti-atheist bigot?

You've got the wild assertions down, but you've forgotten to mispell every other word and your capitalization looks to be correct.  Furthermore, you need to add more exclamation points.  Fortunately, you throw in a few insults to raise your score.  I can give you a 3/10.  If you'd look up Boatwright, he could probably give you a few pointers which could raise your score considerably.

You've had the pleasure of Boatwright's um "company"? Is he still trolling around Usenet?

Silly blader!  Didn't you know that it is the christians that decide who is a christian.  The 'others', no matter what they say, are condemned.

They also decide who is an evolutionist.  Like Hitler.  Obviously, you can't have evolutionists making this decision.

They also decide who is going to hell.  Like you and Hitler... and, well ...  me, too, I guess.

They also decide who has the correct interpretation of the bible.  Them.  Other christians can't be right, because, well.... they're not christians.  This is not even to mention the rest of the world.

If we let them, they will also decide what science curriculums will include.  Like mythology.   And who is to run the world.  Christians, ... the right kind.

Your logical arguments lack one basic premise.  The YECs are alway right...  I hope this clears things up for you.  I don't expect to see this mistake again.

That's perfectly fine with me. I'm glad we agree that merely believing that you are a scientist is not enough, quite unlike being a Christian.

Oh, by the way:

I'll try, but it's difficult trying to conduct a discussion without some grounds in reality.
