I have to agree that I am leaning towards Emmitt, but I think that it's mostly because I prefer Cheryl to Karina.

I do think Mario is a wonderful dancer, and absolutely adorable...

I don't like Karina.

Her voice is grating and her personality is kind of grating.

Cheryl, on the other hand, exudes warmth and enthusiasm, and manages to look completely wholesome in those costumes--probably because of her consummate professionalism.

I don't know about that. Drew from last year was pretty HOT ! And still is. Guess everyone has their own ideas on whats nice to look at.

With Emmitt and Mario tied for the judges' scores, I think Emmitt will get the edge on the popular vote and win the competition.

I watched it on Tivo last night because I was out, and didn't get a chance to vote.

Truthfully, I thought Mario's dances were more exciting and crowd pleasing last night, but I still think Emmitt will win simply because of his personality and the fact that, as an athlete, he's succeeded in a field that's really out of his natural element.

I hope Mario wins. I am impressed though with Emmits dancing, he really has surprised people with his talent if he wins I think it will just be for having a larger fan base not because of the dancing. I do like Cheryl more then Karina but she won last season. The person I would really like to see get further in the compititions is Ashley. She always seems to get the partners with not too much dancing ability, ie: Mr. P.

I thought Mario's contemporary stank. Emmitts had much more challenging lifts and moves. I was shocked that the judges were so impressed with that one. (I think I could have danced that one myself)

I tried voting for Emmitt but couldn't get thru. Hope that is a good sign.

I like Cheryl more and the fact she won last year means nothing...She is excellent...Everyone will want her as their partner next year for sure.
I think Emmitts dancing was more crowd pleasing..Everyone at work was talking about it and they did not like Mario's....We will wait and see...They are both good..., but I hope the winners will be Cheryl and Emmitt..

So, I wait eagerly all day for the awards show. Diet Pepsi in hand, I sit down, giddy with anticipation. I decide to hop on-line a brief moment to check email real quick before the show starts. The Earthlink News ticker tape runs across the top: "Emmitt Smith wins Dancing Title"

Oh he did? Well I already felt he was like that he just seemed so full of himself...and he really wasn't all that....That to me is a big turn off when you are able to see arrogance and pride.....

Runners up Lopez, 33, and partner Karina Smirnoff couldn't hide their disappointment about coming in second place. Tears streamed down Smirnoff's face as she reluctantly talked to reporters and the usually jovial Lopez tried to console her.

"Apparently world-class dancing wasn't enough. That wasn't the criteria it was based on," a dejected Lopez told PEOPLE. "I don't really care about the trophy. I just wanted to win for Karina. She is honestly the best dancer in the world. No disrespect to the other girls on this show, but they don't hold a candle to her."

Mario, Mario, Mario, Karina MIGHT BE the best dancer in the world as you say. That said, this wasn't a competetion for professional dancers. The voters were deciding who had become the better dancer in the past 11 weeks, you or Emmitt. The votes were not a statement on Karina at all!
