I am glad Emmitt and Cheryl were the winners....Cheryl will be the partner to get next season..
I am beginning to wonder whether a female star will ever win the competition again. Generally, the females have the showier moves and the flashier costumes.

If you compare highly skilled male celebrity dancers with the pros, there won't seem to be as much difference as when you compare highly skilled female celebrity dancers with the pros.

In the first place, the female pro dancers look like they survive on diets of watercress, broccoli, and more watercress.

And the female costumes are so unforgiving that even stars who are probably at their ideal weight look beefy next to the female pros....

No matter how well Monique or Sara Evans performed, they just didn't have that skinny, skinny, skinny thing going for them....

And while Monique in particular had some courageous, showstopping moves, she didn't seem quite as confident doing them as the professional ladies...

Kelly Monaco won Season 1, but the level of competition wasn't as high as it was this past season.

I have to disagree with you. Stacey from last season was great. She had moves, looks, everything. I think it was a close race last year. I do think that the women have to work harder but I don't think looks has anything to do with it.

I think you might be on to something. maybe they should have a mens champion and a womens champion. It is very difficult to compare the men to the women. Even in the same dance, the men have different moves than the women.
