I read where germany does not allow its citizens to listen to a song called Unbreakable by Firefight-its a christian heavy metal song. I don't listen to heavy metal but I'm curious as to why its not allowed.

Are you sure it is forbidden here? Because amazon.de features the album, and I see no indication of any ban or even age restrictions.
Generally speaking the only reasons I can think of right now why something would be banned in Germany would be if it counts as Volksverhetzung. Or its purchase may be resticted to persons of age 18+ in cases of extreme sexual or violent content.
EDIT: Oh, or if it uses Nazi symbolism. That is also forbidden except for educational purposes.
