There are certainly valuable properties to any substance on earth, but how much benfit could you possibly get from a stone that fits in a pocket? There is proven magnetic force from the weight of mountains, so I would think sleeping on a mountain would accomplish more.
We already use minerals for internal benefits -- lithium for a calm and stable mind, calcium to strengthen bones (and more), potassium for heart health and hydration, zinc for the immune system... and on.
Research is showing that the skin absorbs certain materials that we used to think were limited to ingestion.
Every substance has a certain amount of electromagnetic force, some amount of radiation, some escape of electrons (rocks in such a solid state that it's ultra-slow).
David Bohm, quantum physicist, spoke of light being contained as in holograms, and possibly solidified as matter (with turbulent electric fields). He also studied wave patterns within the brain, relating them similarly to holograms.
"Imagine an infinite sea of energy filling empty space, with waves moving around in there, occasionally coming together and producing an intense pulse.
Let's say one particular pulse comes together and expands, creating our universe of space-time and matter. But there could well be other such pulses. To us, that pulse looks like a big bang; In a greater context, it's a little ripple. Everything emerges by unfoldment from the holomovement, then enfolds back into the implicate order.
I call the enfolding process "implicating," and the unfolding "explicating." The implicate and explicate together are a flowing, undivided wholeness. Every part of the universe is related to every other part but in different degrees."

Einstein’s Theory of Relativity showed
mass–energy equivalence, comparing matter mass and energy as two different states of the same thing.
E = mc²
These physicists explored the concept of extreme potential power and even movement within a static object, and toyed with the concept of unexpected information contained within.
BUT what is the difference between carrying a crystal and a set of keys, or a handful of change? Both are solid minerals, with some amount of energy and electromagnetic force. You would have to study the properties of moonstone and the others in order to stand behind any measurable scientific value.
And it sounds like you're just doing it because you heard it might work... it's sort of fun to carry around something new that you can focus on.
What you want to watch out for, is spirits that are working alongside these to convince you to lean on them.
Da 5:23You have exalted yourself against the Lord of heaven ...and you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which do not see, hear or understand.
But the God in whose hand are your life-breath and all your ways, you have not glorified.
Hab 2:19"Woe to him who says to a piece of wood, `Awake!'
To a mute stone, `Arise!'
And that is your teacher? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, And there is no breath at all inside it.
