Cross stitch

We have a cross stitch group at our church but no male members yet!!! We make all sorts of different Christian themed designs, mostly bookmarks and cards. we give a bookmark to each child baptised and also to those giving themselves to God. It's great to be able to do our favourite pastime in our favourite surroundings.

I Love Cross Stitch!!! ​

Right now I am working on one with butterflies ans it says "GIVE YOUR CHILDREN TWO THINGS; THE FIRST IS ROOTS, THE OTHER WINGS" . I just bought another one with a cross and flowers all around it and it says may the peace of God be with you. VERY NICE!!!

Who likes cross stitch? What one are you currently doing at the moment. I am doing a Winnie-The-Pooh and friends one looking over a river and they are looking at a frog. There is a phrase at the bottom of it which reads "Everybody loves to play, in a splashy sort of way" Only started it before Christmas and I have now nearly finished it. Gonna wash it, and frame it and give it to my friend Chris for her birthday on the 9th March.

I like cross stitching too Right now I'm not doing any projects (in-between projects, thanks to school) but I've been working on "Sleepy Bunnies Quilt" (picture here: http://www.janlynn.com/ahpimages/054-00461.jpg) for my niece or nephew who is due to be a Christmas present! And I'm going to be starting "Snowman Flatbed" by Bent Creek (one of their Zippies) (picture here: http://www.houseofstitches.com/images/bcz309.JPG) for my sister's Christmas present soon.

I AM DOING AN ASSORTMENT OF THING'S RIGHT NOW! I AM LOOKING FOR A TAZZ CROSS STITCH PATTERN..AS WELL AS A PEACOCK PATTERN! IF ANY ONE OUT THERE HAS ONE..I WOULD SURELY APPRECIATE IT! I did cross stitch some patterns. I remember one of the patterns is about two children (one girl and one boy) seating together and eating ice cream. I did it with all my excite. I finish it within one day. Hihi, I don't know this amount of time is long or short but I satisfied with it.
