Lol. I made pics reccently for my granny cuz a cousin of mine(that she keeps in touch with) was interested in them. People are blow away that "people still do that by hand?" Lol.

Delivered the wedding 'ghan on Sunday and the couple love it!! The groom was blown away by the fact that somebody took the time to make them something. The bride loved the color and the pattern and her Mom had to show it off to everyone who walked in!

Since I have the "monster" 'ghan out of my life I am working on little things. So far I have done 3 hotpads, a scarf & 2 doilies with another on the hook and I'm working on a cell phone case to hang off my purse.

Also--heard from a friend that I sent an afghan to a while back. He loves his, but his buddy is jealous and wants one too. And a friend at church wants to me make her a shawl, just as soon as she finds a yarn she likes. I have also promised my daughter a hobo bag before school starts again next month (Aug. 8th).

I need to make a shawl too. I bought some old pattern books from the 70's which have some items in them that are really back in style!

I'm trying to come up with a pattern for a lapghan for my granny. She likes Native American items so the pattern will go along with that, I hope.

The Stargazer site doesnt bother me, but there are a couple out there that have things that trail aftert he cursor when you move it. Now those things will give me a headache!

Finally got started on the Dancing Butterflies doily by Hardy Hass. It is done in size 20 thread on a size 9 hook. The first 9 rounds have been simple enough, but I haven't gotten to the butterflies yet! It is supposed to be about 12 inches across when finished -- not sure what I will do with it when it is done.

I made an angel doily from a magazine a few months ago -- just sent it off to an old friend from high school I recently reconnected with. Tha doily was also done in size 20 thread. (wonder what my deal is with the smaller threads all of a sudden??)

Just made me a pair of barefoot sandals, for no real reason except they're fun. This is the first pattern I've found that didn't use beads or elastic thread.

I am working on an afghan for a friend and will do a neckpillow for him too if I can find the time. Maybe we can exchange patterns? Nice to meet everyone!
