Since that is blatantly false, you must not have studied evolution to any significant extent at all.

What is false? that they say we are a brain only? or that a creator is not needed for it to work its thing? give you view then.

Like Stephen Hawking would say: a creator is not needed, i'm pretty sure he believed in evolution? you are going to oppose him? ;)

To the OP:

You're an Athiest. What have you specifically studied? Have you taken any courses in biblical studies (e.g. high school, college, online)? Have you read any books on systematic theology? Which ones? Do you use online publications? Have you read any theological journals?

Why would you? So you could impress some random stranger on the internet with how well read you are on a subject that you don't believe and have no interest in?

Your question was pompous and self-serving.
The OP is an agnostic, not an atheist, and in this instance speaks for all of us, including those of us who are Christians. Taking us as group, the answer is a resounding yes to all of those questions. Indeed, I am constantly impressed by how much the atheists and agnostics who participate here know about theology and the Bible, usually more than the creationists.

Hmmm...OK then, what god do you worship? Because I believe all 'atheist' means is 'no god'.

Most atheists are agnostic in terms of belief.

I don't specifically believe or disbelieve in a particular god or gods. I just think if any such supernatural beings do exist, they likely aren't represented by any human religions.

I also believe that my opinion on the subject of the existence of god(s) doesn't impact whether or not such beings do exist. If they exist, they exist. If they don't, they don't.

You have to be careful if you use creationist websites. They not only promote creationism, but systematically misrepresent the content of the theory of evolution in order to make straw man out of it.

Mathematics, geology, statistics.

I think if they ever applied a mathematical model to evolution - ie how long would it take for evolution starting with that single first "life", which could only last for what, nanoseconds (?) to get to the complexity of human life as it is today, I might be interested. If they've looked at this, I'd be interested in the resources and assumptions made.

There is no evidence of early lifeforms in the fossil record, soft body lifeforms cannot form fossils. That lack of evidence means that science is unable to comment on early life forms.

Mathematics cannot make any statement of truth or fact.

As with the inflation event in the Big Bang, early lifeforms present a mystery. A mystery beyond the reach of the empirical method. If you can accept that the scientific methodology is limited, to the bounds of observable evidence. Then you can accept that science cannot answer the big questions.

Oh, I'm not worried. I'm just curious as to what material creationists are using for their research into biology and evolution.

Though I'm still wondering, because nobody has provided any answers to that question.
