And thus we reach the limits of creationism.
Sorry I can't help you.

You'll just have to get saved and ask Him yourself when He comes back.

(Or maybe you're just acting like you truly want the answer?)

This just undercuts the notion of ID as being able to detect purposeful design. If we don't have a method to determine purpose, we can very well say things were created for a purpose.

(Or maybe you're just acting like you truly want the answer?)

If there really were a creator, then yes. I have so many questions as to how and why things were created.

Unfortunately, we both know those answers aren't exactly forthcoming which highlights the questionable utility of creationist beliefs.

Actually I'm of the persuasion that, in today's world, the more they learn about God, the more they hate Him.

Put another way:

Answering questions just makes things worse.

Sign of the times.

That assumes belief in god in the first place. If one doesn't have a belief in something, one cannot actually hate it.

This is something I find a lot of evangelicals don't seem to properly grasp. There is this underlying assumption that everyone who rejects their religion, still believes in it. The concept of non-belief seems foreign to some evangelicals.

For someone Who is so unbelieved in, He sure gets a lot of airtime from the unbelievers.

(And I'm very thankful for that.)

So no Ark, I take it?

You think these things should have been on the Ark, then you'll claim the Ark never existed?

Are you even trying to understand?
Am I trying to understand? I understand perfectly well. You're wrong.

Which is because of those who do believe and their impact on society. This is especially apparent in places like the United States where people's religious beliefs have huge influence on politics, social behaviors, etc.

Naturally this impacts non-believers in those societies. We don't live in vacuum.

You mean like in your national anthem, where the last verse is a prayer?

Ruler Supreme, Who hearest humble prayer,
Hold our dominion within Thy loving care.
Help us to find, O God, in Thee
A lasting, rich reward,
As waiting for the Better Day,
We ever stand on guard.

This line of questioning reminds me of Gandhi who, thanks to him and his religion, destroyed India.
Wow! That's a new one. Or wasn't I paying attention? Should we put that up on the podium next to Science and Pluto Haters?

That isn't part of the Canadian national anthem.

There is a reference to God in the anthem, in the line "God keep our land glorious and free!"

You can see the full lyrics here: Anthems of Canada - Canada.ca

It's from O Canada, by Robert Stanley Weir.

SOURCE

The official anthem is based on only the first verse and chorus of that poem.

If you scroll down a bit, you'll see Official lyrics of "O Canada". That is the Canadian national anthem.

At any rate, this isn't relevant to this thread, so I suggest we leave this discussion here. If you have anything else to say about the creation of parasitic organisms, we can get back to that.

but can result in reduction in reproduction of the species

Seems an overly complicated and needlessly cruel method to accomplish that.

Again, why would a creator create such a complicated parasitic life cycle? What is the purpose behind that?
