Just as dogs are not just for Christmas unwanted babies can not be handed back, if we don't pass on our knowledge to our children we don't deserve to be called parents, our hang-ups should not be passed on to our children.
If you can not talk to your children about sex you should at least ask someone else to do it because they deserve at least that.

Sex education should be taught in the schools, with all parents in attendance affirming the facts to their children as they are presented ( just a nod in the appropriate places would be sufficient). If any parent disagrees with the teachings of the experts they can then explain it to their kids at home. That way everything is out in the open, no stone unturned, and both parent and child have a basis for questions.

Sex education should be taught in the schools, ...
Nah. They wouldn't know sex from a hole in the wall. They teach baby killing and Sodomluv 101, and anything goes as sex education. They have lost the right to be able to teach that. The kids should be protected from the raging pervs.

Don't they learn how to put a condom on a cucumber?

It SEEMS to..does not cut the mustard.
When we coordinate it seems with God's revealed word to man, and balance that out with the actual known part of science, it slices the cheese and cuts the mustard, and puts the cherry on top.
Ever been to the Grand Canyon,Arches,Zion,The Petrified Forest or any other locations that present that evidence and seen it for yourself?

You think the petrified forest was pre flood? Or the canyon? If you would stop tossing out silly strawmen and get a grip on the basics you might be able to talk. Until then.....zip.

The subject matter would have to have the approval and the input of parents. Parents would review the information to be presented prior to the formal lectures. If any objects they would be free to keep their kids out of those lectures. The lectures would be informational only, not graded classes.

Why don't parents just do it themselves then they can be sure the child is taught what they want the child to be taught.
AV unfortunately would not even be able to spell out the word 'sex' for the child.

In a perfect world...maybe.

The thing is that the system is mandatory, and by nature includes a majority pf pagans, who probably couldn't care if Mary changed sex and became Tommy.

It is a cesspool, and the only solution for sex education is to flush and clean. In other words, they cannot teach sex right no matter what, it is a built in flaw in the system.

Pollyanna dreaming may make some feel better, but I prefer to take the bull by the horns.

Doesn't the bible belt have the highest rate of teen pregnancies in the USA?

Who does Satan tempt more? Christians or non-Christians?

Ever heard of the Sceva effect?

Acts 19:14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

So satan is running amok in the bible belt and that is why the teenage pregnancy rate is higher? Is that what you are saying?

Yes.

The question was, what was the sex education like at your school?
The issue is not what school I went to, but what is taught now.

What do I notice generally in many kids from different countries today in regards to learned attitudes on 'sex'? I see so called tolerance being raised to a level above almost all else. That doesn't mean real tolerance, but a programmed acceptance for ungodly lifestyles...and an intolerance for godly ones!

I see the fear of babiess and families that seems to outweigh the dread of filthy alternatives. I see an acceptance of baby killing as a legitimate alternative to life. I see careers for women as being elevated far above motherhood and loyalty to men, and families. Etc.

Wow. Reality really is a foreign country to you.

Is this what I get for agreeing with you that the Bible belt has the highest rate of teen pregnancies in the USA?

The school could test all the kids to determine what they actually know and believe before formal teaching begins. Those kids that have a pretty good knowledge of sex and sexuality would be excused from the lectures.
