No, I want to know whether a god exists or not.
Uh-huh.

If you say so, I won't dispute it.

(Not here, anyway.)
Here is a honest question for you: If a god exists shouldn't there be some sort of reliable evidence for this god?
Here we go with that e-word again.

Yet again:

The problem with evidence is that it appeals to the flesh -- the body.

Specifically the brain.

It attempts to satisfy the empirical senses.

But God's existence is not a matter of physics; it is a spiritual matter.

As Abraham told the rich man, who wanted Abraham to send people back from the dead to witness to his five brothers:

Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

All religions have that sort of nonsense. You need to do better than that or you are guilty of making your religion no more true than Hinduism.

Show me: 1) the authors of Hindu's religion, and 2) where and how they were martyred.

And for a real treat, show me the Hindu bible, written almost before the Hindus ever existed.

And show me from said Hindu scriptures, where the Hindu were called Hindu by their antagonists.

Why do the authors matter?

Why do martyrs matter? And what exactly do is a martyr by your definition?

And your last demand makes no sense at all.

If you are going to make such demands you must be able to justify them first.

Why do the authors matter?
Because ours were martyred.
Why do martyrs matter?
They added validity to what they believed.
And what exactly do is a martyr by your definition?
 -- Huh?
And your last demand makes no sense at all.
Show me the Hindu scriptural equivalence of ...

Acts 11:26b And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Do "young women" not know where babies come from? Come on.

My only friend who had a baby as a teenager believed the "pull out method" was an effective form of contraceptive because she'd never had any form of sex education to disabuse her of that misconception. She also believed that in the "eyes of the Lord" she and her boyfriend at the time were married because they had exchanged vows to one another and planned on legally marrying at 18. She's from an ultra-convserative Southern Baptist family and went to the school operated by the church. There are also a lot of boys who don't realize there's a proper way of putting on a condom.........

Anyhoo. I'm confuzzled as to why the conversation even moved to this, though. I never read threads the whole way through so I don't know when the detour to this line of discussion was made, or why.

They may or may not know depending what their parents choose to tell them or let them learn. They also may or may not know what prophylactics are, again depending on what their parents choose to tell them or let them learn.

I'm not a chicken.

I could identify individuals by their behavior, not their appearance.
Thank you for proving my point.

From across the street maybe, but up close individual differences are quite obvious regardless of race. Of course I have the advantage of being around people of different races all the time.
Good for you. That doesn't change the fact that the cross-race effect/in-group advantage is real.

Today, 10% feed 90%. When you pick berries, do you only pick enough for yourself?
Yes, they do and they do it using modern mass farming techniques, something that was not available to Noah and his family. Not to mention that they only had two of each kind of animal so eating them was out of the question.

Do you plant only what you intend to eat? Do you butcher a steer, eat one steak and discard the rest to let others fend for themselves? The children can help out in the gardens after about 7 or 8 years, as has been the way of life for many years.
Not with the ability or efficiency that adults with many years of practice have. Not to mention that they must be monitored.

No, because I don't need the elevated birth rates to prove the point, and I left room for naysayers to bring death and infant mortality into the picture. besides. If a woman lifes 600 years, how many children could she birth? Assuming only half of her life she is able to have children (less than today) that could lead to incredible numbers. Population growth is NOT a problem.

Absolutely. That eliminates the nonsense that 8 people couldn't have repopulated the earth though, doesn't it?
No, because that claim is just as made up as any other.

What evidence would you expect to find about birth/death rates from that era? Al Gore hadn't invented the internet yet.
We have evidence of population growth through history.

BTW, only a moron continues to claim that Al Gore ever said he invented the Internet.

I have no idea what "genetic diversity of man is."
And yet here you sit arguing about it.

Assuming it has something to do with genes, I assume Mamba Natural takes care of that?
Then why hasn't nature taken care of it with regards to cheetahs after 10,000 years?

A lot can happen tween now and 2025 to the population. Your graph is basically a prophesy that we are not in the end time. We don't know that.

Also, there may have been a lot more people pre flood than you dare dream.

According to this logic Islam is the currently most substantiated and valid religion in the world.
No argument there.

Christianity isn't a religion.

But just for fun, show me where Mohammad was martyred, like some of the writers of our [66] sacred books were.

That's a very ignorant and insulting opinion of me.

Do you have a soul?

If so, where in the evolution of man from an original single life form, did the soul "evolve"?

If we evolved from some single life form over time, what makes us more than just accumulated proteins, fats and carbohydrates, minerals and metals, all wrapped up with a cellular central processing unit?

What makes us more than random chance beings that happen to, now, be able to think, love, wonder, search and reason?

If we are just evolved creatures and when we die, that's the end, of what importance are we? Who do we answer to if we wrong another organism and why is it wrong at all?
