It isn't.

Then the Earth should be covered by 1,000 feet of water. It isn't.
You forget that YEX believe that the earth was once flat. Goes like this:
Earth flat, then earth floods, then mountains come up. See how easy that was? ^_^

I love it when I get accused of running my post count up.

I wish for just one day you guys could see yourselves as others see you.

Evidence: All the water on the moon is found at one place. You tell me how did that happen.

Yes, there is more than enough water to flood the whole earth 1000 feet deep.

All the water on the moon is found only in places that sunlight does not touch, because otherwise it would be vaporized. There is not enough water on earth to flood it 1000 feet deep, and the thing about gravity is, it would keep all that water on earth. It would take an extinction level eruption or impact to expel that much water from earth, it would also take the entire earth's atmosphere with it, making earth sterile. Forever.

YEX theory does sound kind of silly when coming from someone who uses reason as a basis for argument, doesn't it?

Who are these "others" you are referring to BTW?

Yes, because "7", "18", and "182" are just so erudite by comparison.

I wish for just one day you guys could see yourselves as others see you.

"Others"?

You and what army, AV? The brigade of retrofitting the internet into the Bible?

You are actually saying the right thing.

But it is not easy. Most ( >95%) people do not understand it. That is why all of you are laughing here.
The first part and the third part are easier to see. (no need to laugh)
The second one is very puzzling. (you should cry, instead)

By the way, one correction: this is not the belief of must YECs.

Moon or Earth, you haven't given evidence for any of your claims yet, so its a bit of a moot point.

I give you clues, you go and search by keywords. I am not teaching kindergarten kids.

All serious literatures are very specified. If you really like to see a research article, be specific on what you want to see.

A theory I just now thought up [okay, an hypothesis] that I think is viable is that there were HUGE underground water troughs that released water upwards during the Flood, possibly by God ever-so-gently squeezing Pangaea along its perimeter.

When Genesis 10 came around, and God segmented Pangaea into continents, they were segmented along the lines of these super-troughs.

Here is a map of Pangaea:

images

The lines you see on this map could be the super-troughs.

I love that you accept the bits of science that are convenient to you.

Speaking of convenience, those lines on the map, not "super troughs" simply there for the readers convenience so they can see which parts of Pangaea made up which continents of the world today.

When you make a claim you back it up with evidence, that includes relevant links.
You don't expect other people to do the research for you.

The "second one" that is "very puzzling." Please explain that one.

Would be nice if the "teacher" had graduated from kindergarten, though.

Please show a peer-reviewed paper that shows that all water on moon can be found at the same place.

Please show a peer-reviewed paper that shows that the moon ever had a global flood.

Please show a peer-reviewed paper that shows that there is enough water on earth to cover the entire globe, given the fact of continental drift.

If you don't accept continental drift, please show a peer-reviewed paper that shows that the world's mountains arose after the flud, and that the earth was smooth at the time of it.

Of course it is not NOW.

Your house is flat, is it not? There is more than enough water in the world to fill your house with water, is there not? Therefore, your house was flooded yesterday between the hours of 4 pm and 5 pm.

Wow, being a creationist is fun!!!!!

And, I am talking about moon ice.

You are asking why it is cooler at the poles of the moon? Do you know why it is cooler at the poles on Earth? There is your answer, and it has nothing to do with a global flood.
