CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't know if one can actually believe in that sort of thing.
It's a later addition on the Apostle's Creed: maker of heaven and earth.
So, I don't suppose it matters as much as Christians think it does, plus its
a fairly modern thing. Young Earth Creation that is.
There is no Creationism vs evolutionary theory.
The one is about how it all got started and the other is how it's all got along since.

Thank you for your response. I respectfully disagree today there are a lot of people that use evolution against a creator of the universe and how things came to be. Also I never spammed anything, a matter of fact I have requested that the other thread get deleted. Next time please not make assumptions that I am spamming the forums, without first private message the poster in question followed by messaging a admin. But in this case I did so by mistake. Although creationism isn't a theory, per se, since it isn't supported by evidence, I believe you meant "theory" as in "belief in."

There are tons of theistic evolutionists. It is the creationists who have the largest number of people claiming that if evolution were true it would disprove the existence of a creator.

Then again, whenever a creationist attacks/questions/denies evolution on the forums you'll often see a bunch of atheists suddenly jumping to "Biblical morality is evil/Jesus never existed/religion is nonsense" instead of actually sticking to the topic.
