I watched this as I ate lunch, and actually chuckled out loud a few times.

Someone with a legit PhD who is willing to reject accepted science to say "the bible said it, god did it, now we must accept evidence to support, and reject that which does not."

I can't believe she actually pulled out the Mt. St. Helens dating claim!?

Well I didn't think you'd want to hear how I nearly lost my lunch after trying to listen to her :)

I am only halfway through, but this is painful, even with gin & tonic.

Ahh that's the secret.

alas I'm at work right now & I've got a 2 hour drive home, so a Gin & Tonic wouldn't really work right now.

To have made it through a PhD in molecular genetics in a secular shool, and NOT be exposed to evolution... well that just blows my mind. What's more, I don't know how she said some of the things she said and kept a straight face. Or even how Shermer kept a straight face as she blathered on.

I went to a small private college, received B.S. in bio, and even I was thoroughly taught (as all my professors received their PhD's at secular institutions and were all evolutionists) the theory of evolution as FACT!

I half expected her to stop mid-sentence and, after a long pause, say "you know what I just realized... this is madness!"
Lol.. I was thinking the same thing! I was hoping she would stop mid sentence and say 'the h*ll did I just say? I make no sense whatsoever!'

Oh, I'm sure she was exposed to it, but it was just a matter of . . . I CAN'T HEAR YOU!

How sad to see a molecular geneticist claim evolution is not evolution, and that no "Kind" of animal becomes another "Kind" of animal. I would have liked to ask how she defines "kind," in this context. Then she lies about Mt St Helens being dated to millions of years when it isn't. Also, she claims an old age for the earth is assumed rather than inferred from the evidence. Therefore, her assumptions (which are the "truth") are equal to the conclusions of mainstream science. One more question...where in the Bible does it say that "God cursed everything?" I thought she doesn't interpret the Bible like wrong people do. Just sad. :(
