It's not that nothing would convince me, it's that considering the extraordinary nature of the existence of a god, I'm not just going to accept mundane evidence... especially when there are a multitude of natural explanations that take priority over jumping to a supernatural conclusion.

We have airplanes that can write words in the sky. We each also have brains capable of the occasional malfunction (we can hallucinate). It would not only require that the words just appear in the sky, but it would also have to be unanimously witnessed and accompanied by even more amazing miracles. In fact, an omnipotent god would also be omniscient, and would therefore know what it would take to convince me.

All that said, the challenge of this thread doesn't necessarily have to require that a god exists. The challenge is to simply demonstrate that something can be created ex nihilo.

RickG I want to thank you so much for these links and being the cause of further research on the UV and ultimately for my interpretation of Genesis. I am experiencing some new insights from God in this area and I am excited to see where it leads. I feel certainty that God used you to lead me to some new info He would like me to consider. I need to go back to the original Hebrew and see if it confirms my new insights. Thanks again.
