Somebody whose fundamental presupposition is that everything must have a natural explanation, will either find one, or else insist that there must be one, even if they don't know what it is.

Naturalism isn't a presupposition. It's a null position. If you can demonstrate anything other than the natural universe exists somehow, I will accept that too. As of yet, nobody has.

And that doesn't exclude a sign suddenly appearing in the sky saying, "Hello, I exist, yours sincerely God." Either it would be an accidental cloud formation, or it would be mass hallucination, or it would be something else. The one thing it wouldn't be is proof that God exists.
While such a long coherent sentence written in the clouds would certainly be alarming, an omnipotent being wouldn't be my immediate conclusion as the source, no.

By the way, such evidence would also be considered natural evidence.

I'm referring to the original creation, the original kablooey.

Yeah, I see evidence which suggests a literal 6 day creation didn't happen, and none that suggests it did. So why on earth should I believe it actually happened?

Empty Godless suppositions aren't very convincing either.

Depends on one's faith-based view.

You're the one on the side of the faith-based view.

Are you accepting the challenge or did you just smell some bickering you haven't been involved in yet?

By the way.. The first mention of your warped strawman version of evolutionary theory in this thread will get you reported for trolling.

Don't believe it happened, that doesn't change the issue concerning one's view of how creation occurred. It was either with God involved or a Godless creation.

Report me for trolling. Let's see what happens.

Now, go away and meditate on your faith-based view that nothing created you.

Or you can say "I don't really know, could be either"

Now, go away and meditate on your faith-based view that nothing created you.

Like everyone else, my parents created me.

I don't have a faith based view nor positive claim regarding the origin of the universe. What I do have is a null position, which the challenge of this thread is to fill it with a provable/falsifiable hypothesis or something tangible and demonstrable.

Nobody wins here until it can be demonstrated that something, anything can be created ex nihilo.... which by the way, means from nothing, and is actually your belief, not mine.

How did creation begin?

I only have a faith-based view. What caused the big bang?

I told you nobody knows, but educated people are often trying to find out.

If you admit to only having a faith based view that creation happened ex nihilo, then you are admitting you can't meet the challenge.

I have a faith-based view that God did it. There was a cause.

Except the bible makes no mention of the Big Bang. In fact, nothing ever states that god made all the planets in our solar system even, at most all the visible stars in the sky.
