If there is no reproductive health care, you are going to be very, very sorry when all the husbands who've lost their wives and infants in childbirth or to cervical cancer and the mothers who have miscarried or lost premature babies all band together and decide to get revenge. Those deaths can all be prevented very, very easily with affordable reproductive and prenatal care.

I personally am not one for revenge, but grief is a very powerful motivator to kill whoever took your loved ones away from you, even if you end up dead in the process.

You'd have to set something up, Shield, or you'd have a mob on your hands (not to mention the blood of their lost loved ones.) There has to be standard healthcare available to everyone, and I'd think as someone who's pro-life you'd raise reproductive healthcare above just about everything. That way, couples plan for and make their babies, deliver them without too many problems, and then they can raise their new healthy baby up.

To be honest with you, I wouldn't bring any children into a country like you describe. One of us would find someone to sterilize us. Probably my boyfriend, since it's easier to sterilize a man than it is a woman. Make that illegal, and we'd find someone anyway.

How would you ban groups like Planned Parenthood? They are groups of individuals who sponsor, donate, and raise money and provide medical services. Would you ban medical services? Or just medical services to women? Or with those without the means of paying for medical services outright just have to go without medical treatment, some of them dying painfully? Would you only allow low-cost medical treatments for pregnant women, and only so that the fetus could be born? Would newborns be granted the same right to low-cost medical care as fetuses would have?

If you had no welfare system, how would you deal with those who live in poverty? What about those who have suffered a major loss - such as a natural disaster, or a lost job, or a whole industry going bust? How would you deal with those who can not hold jobs due to illness or disability? How would the developmentally disabled eek out a living? Would they have to rely soley on charity? Would the C.S.A. government create jobs for those who can not otherwise find jobs in the private market? Would the elderly end up being treated like those in the book Children of Men?

Do you realize that welfare systems were created because private charity just doesn't provide enough?

You know, back in the OLD days (medieval times) the church here in Norway banned all sexual positions apart from one (guess which one).
It was also a capital offense to be a homosexual. And if you called someone a homosexual, he had a right to kill you.

Wouldn't matter anyway, Shield would kill my partner should he come to power so I'd be having no more sex anyhow. Actually, he'd probably kill me too, and if he didn't I'd get myself killed in the revolution or an assassination attempt. What would I have to lose, after all, if I lost the person I plan to spend the rest of my life with? It's not like I could devote my life to a worthwhile cause because Shield would have banned them all.
