  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It has been such a wild ride with the virus, I have been doing some reminiscing now that it is almost over! If you have any interesting stories about the COVID-19 lockdown post them here!

Maybe in 10 years they will have a special on the History channel about the great COVID pandemic of 2020! I can remember all of the crazy stuff on the news at first, saying things will never be normal again, America would be destroyed, and our economy would be destroyed as well. I was hoarding emergency food rations in case something happened to the food supply! The shelves were bare at the grocery stores. We were on severe lockdown for about 4 months, I can remember being at church with only 5 other people, there was a gathering ban so we could not meet as usual. I can remember that many people were afraid, you could feel it in the air. Now a year later they are saying we can soon get back to normal, we made it!

The losses were tragic but I enjoyed social distancing. One day last march I discovered tint flowers growing in the grass. What an awakening to nature that turned out to be. I have a botanist within me.

It has been kind of biblical for me. The world imitating my life, which was weird. I have been in lockdown of sorts for 10 years, and suddenly the entire world does the same. Kind of played a part in me waking up, and ending my personal lockdown. Weird enough if 2 or 3 people started copying me, but when 9 billion people do it, then I had better change, that is too weird. Could write a pretty good screenplay about it.I though you people would get back to normal, but never did, so I had to. And my faith was fortified on solid foundation during it too. I moved, got peace. Clean up stuff in my life now. Lot's of bad stuff, but it does not get me down. Content for the first time in my life, without antidepressants. So it has been good for me. Made me free. Made me read the bible. Made me able to watch a movie from start to finish again, not been able to do that since 2013 or thereabouts. And I had a toothache in many teeth 6 months ago, now it is gone.
